"Are you ready, Aelin?" Nakangiting tanong ni Willem sa'kin.

My big and chubby hands held his as I nodded hesitantly. I just turned 11 years old last month and I'm so nervous on meeting new people and making new memories with them. Willem is here with me because he has been in here since first grade and he was nice enough to bring me here because my family is busy. Kuya is also having his first day at his own school, while Mom and Dad are working their heads off.

"It's good naman na nandito ka, so I'm not that afraid." I answered him, walking inside the hallways and into the office. The lady smiled at me and nodded at my best friend before turning back to me again. "Are you Aveline Jade S. Novenche?"

"Yes po." I clutched my other hand on my backpack while nodding.

"Welcome to Star Academy, Aveline. We're glad to be a part of your life." She smiled at me again before handing me a peace of paper. I look at Willem to see him smiling at me. I turn my head at the lady again before I smiled back shyly, "Thank you po."

"You're welcome, darling. I'm Francesca Vapurano, Star Academy's School Principal. You may go to your classes now." I waved at her softly before heading out of her office.

Huminto kami ni kuya sa isang pintuan na nakalagay ang section name ko. I looked up at him again, my heart beating too fast. "W-Willem, I'm scared. Can I just attend tomorrow instead?"

I'm not scared because he won't always be beside me, I'm scared because I know someone will make fun of my weight and it feels so bad to be treated like garbage when you just wanted to be treated like a human being. Simply breathing is enough to be respected and some people doesn't get that.

"You can't, you'll miss making friends or meeting your classmates and teachers. Trust me, Ae-Ae. Magtataranta ka bukas kung hindi ka aattend ng klase mo ngayong araw." Saad nito. I let out a breath and nodded after thinking about what I will do if the worst case scenerios happens to me, I will leave immediately. I nodded at what I am thinking about while entering the classroom with him, sealing my fate once I locked my eyes with those ocean blue eyes. Wow.

"Everyone, this is your new classmate. Treat her nicely." The soft voice that came from the lady who's smiling so nicely at me once I looked away from those pretty eyes.

"Please introduce yourself to the class."

I nodded and look straight to the wall to avoid any awkward and intimidating eyes especially those blue ones. "Good morning, everyone. My name is Aveline Jade S. Novenche, Aelin for short. I am 11 years old. Please be good to me." I smiled before looking at Willem beside me. I let out a sigh and gave him a little nod before turning my head again towards my new classmates, accidentally locking my eyes with those eyes full of mischief.

"You may sit down wherever you want, Aveline." I looked at the empty chair beside him and in his back, he raised his right eyebrow at me.

"Mr. Buentuverde, you may also go to your sit. Thank you for accompanying our new student." Willem pats my shoulder before he went towards the empty seat beside the blue-eyed boy, making my heart jump. Are they close?

I averted my eyes towards the other side of the room to see an almost dark skin colored girl and has a curly dark hair, smiling widely at me while waving her hands to me, as if to invite me in the sit beside her. And because I don't want to sit near the boy with blue eyes, I took her invitation. The girl giggled and looks at me with her crinkled eyes because of too much smiling.
