"One." I muttered but I can see how his eyes lit up, his mesmerizing eyes being a few shades lighter than before. "Only one. Mess it up and that's it. I found myself already and I know I can be all by myself now, I'm not scared of you leaving me anymore."

"But..." He takes a few steps backwards. "Huh? Ayaw mo na kaagad?" I taunted him, my heart beating at a fast rate in anxiety.

"Nope..." He grins. "I'm just gonna claim you rightfully as mine." He said as he kneels in front of me pulling out a silver ring that looks like vines or leaves that wraps around the circle with tiny details on it. Simple but it looks so beautiful in my eyes.

"Will you, Aveline Jade S. Novenche, marry this stupid man infront of you?"

Tears of joy flows out of my eyes as I nodded eagerly, "Yes! Yes, I do."

He lets out a heartfelt laughter before sliding the ring in my right hand's ring finger. "You won't regret it, Ae. I love you." He said as he hugs me tightly after standing up.

"I love you." I kiss his jawline, "There's no regret when it comes to you, hon."

He softly smiled at me and kisses my nose, "Love of my life, it's time for me to spoil you."

"It's fine, I already spoiled myself. Puno na nga 'yong sasakyan ko eh." I shook my head.

"No, it's different if its from me." He insisted. I rolled my eyes, "Bahala ka, pera mo naman gagamitin ko. Why not?" I shrugged before walking towards my car, him following me like a puppy with his hands on mine.

We both decided to convoy after seeing that my car was half full and he also brought a car with him. As we're currently on the road, my phone rang and luckily it's connected to my car so I don't have to grab my phone and lost my focus on the road. One incident is enough. Another one and maybe I might even die immediately.

I smiled when I glanced at the caller id and shake my head before answering it, "What?"

[Follow my car, okay? I want to show you something.]

"Uhh...Sure." I pursed my lips, following the expensive Mercedes-Maybach.

[Alright, eyes on the road too. I don't plan on losing you this time around.]

With that, he ended the call. I chuckled and continued on driving as my heart keeps on beating wildly in my chest. It only took a couple of hours for us to finally arrive. I haven't traveled all of Paris' tourist spots that's why I'm still clueless on what Clive has planned for me. When I see a gothic-styled building, I was struck by the ornamental design of the facade, with its profusion of sculptures and gargoyles, while elaborate flying buttresses provide structural integrity for the enormous building.

After parking the car near the building, I immediately got out and rush towards Clive in his light brown themed suit with no neck tie nor bow tie. He chuckled and held my hands before leading me in front of the majestic building that is not that filled with people, making it peaceful.

"Where are we, Clevantoire?" His eyes widened as he looks back at me. "Did you just called me by my full first name?"

"Yes, what about it?" I raised my right eyebrow at him. "My name is too handful to say."

I rolled my eyes, "Fine, now answer my question."

He shakes his head at me before gently dragging me inside the building, my eyes quickly scanned the place. After admiring the decorative doorway, Clive held my hands as we entered the sanctuary to take in the grandeur of this immense vaulted space. The sanctuary seems almost endless and beckons visitors with the light of flickering candles.
