Alright, this episode is quite... I don't know. I liked it, it gives you more of an idea on Robyn's mental state I guess. Also, I will warn at the beginning of episodes if there are swears or, like darker stuff. This episode is fine though. ALSO IM REALLY HAPPY, PART 1 OF THIS IS COMPLETE, THATS 15 CHAPTERS AND AN EXTRA EPISODE, MOVING ON TO PART 2 (which coverS Ultron) BASICALLY IMMEDIATELY. also sorry the titles are so... yeah. Not quite in line with the story but I couldn't help myself
Enjoy!

Also I realized after rereading it how the 'you might like it' lines sounded, I'm sorry.

A few hours later both Natasha and Robyn were sitting on the sofa, both trying to dry out their hair. Chucking her towel on the floor Robyn headed into the kitchen, nodding to Steve, who had just left the room.
Bucky was sat down in there, staring at a pile of toast.

"Hi."

"Oh, hey"

"You gonna eat that?"

"Steve's trying to get me to eat more. He's just being stupid."

Robyn reached over and picked up a piece, scrutinizing the hazel haired man in front of her.
"Bad day Cica*?"

"I guess. Sorry. I'm not exactly the best company"

"Hey, last week I didn't come for dinner at all. If anything I should be apologizing."

Bucky just shrugged, his eyes dark with something Robyn hadn't seen before on him. But it was a look she recognized.
She bent forwards.
"Hey, you want to see something?"

Bucky looked up, confused.

"C'mon, you might like it."

He followed her out of the room and into the corridors. They passed severally rooms and headed up a flight of stairs before coming out in front of a door.

"This is the room Tony gave me. I- I don't sleep here much, I prefer the open air, but, well, when I am in there...."
She pushed open the door and pulled Bucky in. His steps faltered as he entered the room. One wall was made up of huge window, like several other bedrooms around the tower, but Robyn had been lucky enough to get a proper view of the skyline rather than the houses and vehicles outside. Another wall was filled with books, the range of covers shining in the light. But that wasn't what made him stop.
The two other walls were rainbows of life, shapes and colours painted In bright, deep shades.

The dead centre of one wall held an almost 3D looking arc reactor. As the sunshine from the window hit the spot, it glowed blue, and the rest of the walls came into focus. There were people painted into the walls he didn't recognize, faces, some smiling, some not. There were words, painted again and again, crossed out and rewritten.

Hail Hydra
Hail Hydra
Hail Hydra
No

There were lyrics dancing across the ceiling, and a sunset at the bottom of one wall.
It was horrifying. But it was also beautiful.

"I like to paint. When I have nightmares I mean. It helps, I guess. It helps to see them more clearly."

"Why would you want them where you can see them?" Bucky replied, his gaze still transfixed on the walls.

"Better than in my head. Also, painting has a rhythm to it. If I ever feel like I'm loosing control..." Here she paused, her silence showing quite clearly she felt she'd said to much.

Bucky was about to reassure her when he realized that, like him, maybe she didn't want sympathy.

Maybe she just wanted a friend.

"It's beautiful, Doll. Really."
And she smiled. Really truly smiled. Her whole face lit up for the first time in several years. And seeing that, Bucky thought, was worth some nightmares. Though....

"You call me Doll one more time and you're dead."
