Robyn looked up, hearing raised voices. She gestured to Clint, who spun backwards to grab his hearing aids off the side, and joined her in listening.

"I think Steve has arrived."

"And by the sounds of it he brought company."

They darted off down the hall, to stand beneath the glass flooring of Tony's workshop. Robyn looked up to see a blur of sliver, then both her and Clint raised their guns in sync, and shot.

Pietro smashed down at their feet, and Clint quickly held him down.

"What? You didn't see that coming?" Clint smirked, and Robyn hissed beside him: "Okay, the shooting was fun, but causing more divides isn't gonna help us Clint. Let him up."

As Clint nodded to her, and raised his foot, chaos exploded above them. Steve charged at Tony, only to be shot back, and Bruce grabbed Wanda around the neck. Robyn yanked herself up, jumping off the hanging pipes to get to the next floor, ignoring the agony in her foot. She saw Bucky in the corner, backing away from the fight, and Clint follow her up, staring wildly. As Wanda pulled away from Bruce, and Tony and Steve fell into another room,Robyn saw the familiar shape of Thor charge into the room, and onto the casket.

He raised his hammer, and in a blast of white light, slammed it onto the case. Then it exploded, and Robyn fell back, only to feel an arm catch her from fall back a floor. She turned her head to see Bucky, silver arm clasping hers, and nodded at him, feeling her cheeks heat, as he awkwardly let go, her having regained footing.

A slim figure rose out of the case, steam surrounding him, and Robyn drew her blades, dropping her weight on her right foot, her left still bound.

The figure looked around, confused, and suddenly charged at Thor, slamming him away, before stopping, staring at the clear window to the skyline of New York. Robyn turned to Clint, who grabbed her around the waist and helped her hop to where the rest of them had gathered.

Bucky raced behind them, trying to ignore Clint's helping hand on Bryn's shoulder.

They gathered beneath the humanoid, weapons at the ready, but Robyn suddenly felt the urge to lower her blades. The man (if it could be called that) had frozen, seeming lost in the lights of the city.

She heard the clink of Thor's hammer as he lowered it onto the table, and saw the figure turn to face them.

"I'm sorry, that was.... odd. Thank you."

Robyn jumped at the voice, it again, reminding her a little too well of her father.

"Thor! You helped create this?!" Steve's angry voice rang out.

"I had a vision. A whirlpool that sucks in all hope of life, and at its centre, is that."

He gestured to the glowing stone in the centre of the Robots forehead.

"What, the gem?"

"It's the mind stone, one of the six infinity stones, the greatest power in the universe, unmatched in its destructible capabilities."

"Then why did you-"

"Because Stark is right."

Robyn felt, rather than saw, Tony give a self satisfied smirk, still speechless at the brightly colored man in front of her. But to her great dismay, the only thought she could properly process was:
