It was my fault...

"Alright team, suit up! We've got a mission, Fury wants us there as soon as possible! Meet at the plane in ten minutes."

They sprang up, Natasha and Clint already out of the door, where another voice called them back.

"So I'm guessing we aren't coming?"

Robyn stood, glaring at the lot of them; Bucky sat behind her, his expression exactly the same.

Steve looked back at them, his stare almost meeting theirs. "No you aren't. Buck, you're under house arrest, Remember! And Robyn, I get the feeling SH.I.E.L.D doesn't want you anywhere near a crime scene. You both stay."

"Much as I hate to agree with captain Handsome over here, he's right." Tony nodded in agreement.

Flopping back into the armchair she had just vacated, Robyn sighed. "Fine, but don't, you know-"

"Get killed." Buck interjected.

"We won't." This was Natasha talking, nodding at them both. And then they were leaving, the engines of the plane heard all the way in the living quarters.

Placing his cup on the table, Bucky turned to Robyn.
"We aren't really just gonna let them go with out us, right Bryn?"

"What do you think?" She smirked. "Let's go help their sorry asses."

Just then a screen lit up on the wall.

Robyn strode over, Bucky right behind her.

"What is it?"

"A mission, over by the memorial museum."

"Should we say the team is busy?"

"What if we can help? They could need us."

Bucky clicked on the alert, his face scrunched up, thinking. "It says there was just a break in, the alarms just been set off, the only reason the avengers got alerted was because it's the Captain America exhibit. It says-"

Another alert pinged onto the screen.

"-IT SAYS THEY HAVE A BOMB PLACED, the museum hasn't had time to evacuate, THERE ARE STILL CIVILIANS IN THERE."

Robyn's face paled. "We don't have time to call Tony, plus they have their own problems. We have to deal with this ourselves."

Bucky nodded. "I'll see you outside."

Ten minutes later they both stood outside the back of the museum, out of sight of the officers surrounding the front of the building.

"You know how to disable a bomb?"

"I'm hoping you do."

"Alright cica*, you get the people out, I get the bomb. How long do we have?"

"I DON'T KNOW" Bucky hissed, "it's not like I do this often!"

Robyn sighed. "You see that window? Get in there, and break out the people. I'll see if I can find the bomb."

"They won't trust me, they'll have seen me on the news."

"I'm right behind you."

He nodded, and vaulted the five metres up to the window. Robyn glared up, then climbed up the bin, gripped onto the sheer wall, and began to climb, muttering, "oh yeah, just forget I'm not a super soldier..... stupid ass...."

She pulled herself up to the window, surprised to see it was already open. Bucky must have gone in without her.

She slipped inside, rolling to break the fall.

"Buck?"

The room was silent, the eight statues of the howling commandos standing stock centre.

Wait. Something didn't feel right.

Shit.

There were only seven howling commandos. A figure swung out from the pedestal, his silver arm swinging wildly.

"Buck?! WHAT! What are you-"

She ducked, the metal arm veering dangerously close to her neck. Reaching for her waist, two blades slid into her hands, the silvered tone of vibranium dancing in the dim light.

"What!"

And then it hit her. So did the Fist. As her vision went black she stared at the approaching figure.

Oh.

Oh no Buck.

I'm sorry. This is all my fault.

The winter soldier was back. And it was Robyn's fault.
