~The Spirit Bender~

Into The Spirit World

The group made their way towards the meditation garden, Tenzin, Korra and Anima sat down in a line, the two girls being next to each other.

"see you in the spirit world" Anima says to the two who nodded, the three closed their eyes and began to clear their mind as Meelo and Ikki created what was ment to be calming sounds.

Unlike Tenzin and Korra, Anima went straight into the spirit world, she opened her eyes and saw towering green plants that remained her of Lilly pads, and the grass with pretty Iris flowers sprouting from it, she smiled a little but it went away as she noticed that her dad and Korra were not there.

She looked around but couldn't find them anywhere, instead of going out of the spirit world she decided to stay in and wait for them.

She waited for a good hour before the two came in, Korra smiled widely as she saw Anima layed on the grass "finally, what kept you-wait why is Nora here?" Anima asked as she watched her sister look around in amazement.

Korra scratched her neck with a nervous smile "Tenzin couldn't get but it turns out Jinora has a very good spiritual connection" Korra explained in simple terms.

"that still doesn't explain why it took you an hour to get here" Anima crossed her arms with a not so pleased look on her face "well, we went to find a more spiritual place, it took longer because I had to carry you all the way" Korra mumbled the last part with a blush showing on her face as she held her right arm "am I heavy?" Korra's head shot up from the ground as she blinked a few times "w-what?" she asked.

"am I heavy, because it still shouldn't of taken you an hour to get here" Anima complained.

"yes... I mean no... I mean" Korra frustratedly groaned as she saw the look on Anima's face "so what your saying is I'm fat" the purple eyed girl says with a very serious face, Korra smiled nervously as she backed away slightly from her, Anima just started laughing making Korra confused.

"I'm only joking kory, damn that look on your face was so cute" Anima chuckled as she walked past the Avatar to her sister, Korra froze slightly as another blush come to her face and a small smile, she thinks I'm cute, she thought happily, but Korra then shook the thought from her head, thinking that friends calling friends cute was a normal thing.

"isn't it beautiful?" Jinora clamly says as she looked at the wonderful scenery of the spirit world "just stick by us, ok?" Korra says looking round skeptically "this seems nice, but you never know when we'll run into some dark spirits" Korra then touched a pink flower that turned into a big butterfly "look" Jinora chuckled "it's like it's made of jewels" the young air bender then ran after the pink butterfly.

"Nora, hold up!" Anima then ran after her sister, and Korra ran after Anima, the purple eyed girl caught up to her sister who was giggling at the butterfly spirit, they soon stopped and admired the spirit "he's beautiful isn't he?" Anima asked her sister

"its a he?" she asked and Anima nodded as she let him land on her arm "yeah, can't you tell?" Jinora shook her head but before anymore questions could be asked they both heard Korra yell, they looked to see her being covered in spirits.

Anima and Jinora quickly ran towards her "Stay calm, they respond to how your feeling, if you keep being negative it'll make it worse!" Anima says not really focusing on how she knew that but as she got closer, the ground started to sink, making them go into a hole.

They ended up in water, swimming towards each other they grabbed each others hands but then turned their heads, seeing a massive lizard type animal, they tried to swim away but it swallowed them.

They ended up in a rapid moving river, taking a big breath of air as they went fast down the stream "Jinora!" the two teens shouted as they got separated from the young airbender, they suddenly went into a free fall, Anima instinctifly grabbed hold of Korra and made it so that herself would break he fall.

The two landed with a groan emitting from the both of them, Anima let go of Korra as she rolled into her back "are you ok?" Korra asked with concern in her voice as Anima just sarcastically chuckled "yeah, I'm ok" Anima groans as she gets up, she offered her hand to Korra to help her up, which the Avatar accepted.

"Jinora!" they both shouted and looked round and saw creepy trees and spirits, the two backed up slightly as they saw two big purple spirits, they ran a short distance untill they saw a long creature with 8 spike arms, it went for an attack but they narrowly missed it.

"Jinora!" they shouted again but this time their voices sounded like the ones when they were children and it was accompanied by tears going down their faces as they sat up against a tree and held each other for dear life.

"I-it's o-ok Korra, I'll p-protect you" Anima stuttered out, scared herself as she held Korra, the two cried as more creepy noises came from around them "y-you promise?" Korra's trembling voice asked as Anima nodded, her body shaking a little.

Suddenly they looked to see a thing flying towards them, Anima held Korra tighter as she swatted the thing away, she opened her eyes to see it was just a little bird, the purple eyed girl stood up, still holding Korra's hand as she stood up as well, the two went forward and Anima picked up the bird "I'm sorry for swatting you, you just scared us" Anima's says towards the bird, her voice soft.

The two then heard heavy footsteps and looked to see someone walking towards them "you two look lost. Maybe I can help you"
