~The Spirit Bender~

Forgetful Dad

"ahh!" Anima screamed in frustration as another blast of spirit energy came from her, when she wanted a blast of air, her and Tenzin had being up for the past 4 hours training, it had being a few days since her little sleep in day and they bagen trainijg but since Anima was already a spiritual person, all she had to do was learn the various movements to create air, but so far all she did was spirit bend.

"don't get an-" Tenzin started but Anima cut him off "why can't I air bend properly, for spirits sake now I know how Korra felt" She says crossing her arms.

Tenzin sighed but then a thought came to his head "what if you can't see the difference between the spirit energy and air bending" he says and Anima looked at him confused "of course I can see the difference, ones air ones energy" Anima states but her father just sighs.

"how do you feel when you spirit bend?" he asked and Anima thought for a second "I feel light, like everything is calm been if I'm in an intense situation" Anima describes and her father started stroking his beard "when I air bend I feel light, but the other I don't, so try focusing on the light instead of the calm" he says and Anima nodded as she turned back towards the target dummy.

She took a deep breath as she closed her eyes for a second, she then did the motion for an air blast and the dummy was launched into a wall with an air blast.

Anima smiled while she jumped into the air "yas! Did you see that, Dad I did it, I did it" the purple eyed girl excitedly kept jumping into the air, Tenzin looked upon his first born with a light warm smile, he loved how excited she could get over the most simplest of things.

"well done, Ani, why don't we have a break for an hour or two" he says and Anima looked at him in confusion "but I just got it, what if I forget what to do?" she says but he just chuckled as he walked up to her "you won't forget, and a break will do you good, it helps clear the mind" he says guiding her to the peaceful garden where Pema and Kya was.

"how was training?" Pema asked as Anima sat beside her while Tenzin sat on a chair next to Pema "I air bended without my spirit state!" Pema smiled at the girls happiness as she held her son, Rohan "that's amazing sweety, I'm so proud of you" Pema says placing a hand on Anima's shoulder, the purple eyed girl looked down slightly as her eyes began to glass over, she wiped them and looked back to Pema "thank you, Pema that really means a lot" Anima says sincerely as she gave the Woman a light hug.

Through the years, even before Anima found out Tenzin was her father, the purple eyed girl always thought of Pema as a mom, she was always kind and caring towards Anima, and for her to say she was proud of Anima, filled the girls heart with love and brought tears to her eyes.

"ah, I haven't felt this at peace since-woo hoo-and it's gone" Tenzin says as Bumi came from the air temple and jumped on a rock "good morning, universe!" he says in his dressing gown and PJ shorts "Bumi, please cover yourself" Kya says as she covered her eyes, all Anima did was chuckle.

"well, look here, vacation Tenzin has finally decided to join us" Tenzin sighed "yes he has, it's so nice to spend more time with my family" Tenzin then picked up his youngest son "isant that right, my little Rohan?" Tenzin says in a babying voice, Rohan just coos making the purple eyed girl melt at her brothers cuteness

"and I'm really enjoying having you two around, reminds me of all those great vacations we took as kids with Dad" Bumi and Kya looked at one another before looking back at their brother "I think your memory is a little foggy, Bumi and I weren't on those great vacations" Kya said monotony holding her head up with one hand "yeah, it was always just you and dad" Bumi added.

"no that can't be right" Tenzin narrowed his eyes remembering all the vacations he thought they went on "what about the time he took us to Kiyoshi Island to ride the elephant-koi?"
