Korra's Slight Change Of Heart

Anima drove to Asami's house, she found it to be familiar in a way, but she couldn't place her finger on it.

Anima then walked up the several hundred steps to get to the front door, she approached the door and knocked on it in a little tune, it opened to reveal a man dressed in a suit "how may I help you madam?" he asked with one placed behind his back "is Asami here, I'm her friend, Anima Beifong" she said introducing herself to the man.

"ah, yes I know who you are, Mrs Sato has gone on long rants about you, please come in" he said stepping aside, Anima blushed slightly at the fact Asami talked about her as she walked in "please, wait here" he asked as he walked up stairs to get Asami.

Anima looked around the big house, it was filled with luxury red carpets and top quality furniture, Asami walked down the stairs and saw that Anima was preoccupied looking at her house, the black haired girl smiled devilishly as she quietly made her way behind Anima and jumped on her back, wrapping her arms around Anima's neck and her legs around her torso.

Anima wobbled a little as she gained her balance after screaming a little malking Asami laugh as she held onto the purple eyed girl "you gave me a heart attack" Anima said gaining her breath back.

"hello to you to, Amy" Asami said as she placed her head on Anima's shoulder "why call me, Amy?" Anima asked "well, I like it, don't you want me to call you, Amy?" Asami asked nervously thinking she had done wrong.

"no you can call me it, it's just your the second person to not call me Ani as a Nickname" Anima explained as Asami finally got off of her "so, what brings you here?" Asami asked as she guided Anima into a living room.

They both sat on a couch and got comfortable "I need advice" Anima said simply slouching into the couch "about?"

"what to do with Korra, I know I like her but she sure doesn't like me like that and I'm wondering, should I move on to someone new, even though it's going to be impossible for me to do that" Anima sighed as she put both her hands on her face in frustration.

"look I'm going to be straight forward here, she likes you too, she just doesn't see it yet" Asami said trying to cheer Anima up, knowing she was right "but she likes someone else" Anima sighed as Asami raised an eyebrow "really, who?" she asked and Anima tensed up "she likes, Mako" Anima said the last part quietly and Asami just looked down a little and sighed "I knew it" she said sadly causing Anima to give her full attention to Asami "I'm sorry" Anima said sympathetically as she hugged Asami who leaned into Anima's chest.

"it's not your fault, Mako is attractive and I'm not surprised because I notice the way he looks at Korra and the way she looks at him" She said sadly, while the two were hugging, they both felt this warmth between each other, it was good it made both of them forget their relationship issues and it felt familiar to them, after so long they both fell asleep.

A few hours later Asmai woke up but didn't want to wake Anima, it was the most calm she had ever seen the purple eyed girl, so she decided to the go the the finals without her.

A couple hours after that, the pro bending Arena was attacked by Amon, while Korra was trying to fight the chi blockers, all she could think about was Anima and if she was safe, it plagued her mind and made her heart ache whenever she thought the worst, but Korra knew Anima was strong, and could survive if she was taken, the Avatar just needed to know if she was alright, but sadly, Korra didn't see Anima all night, making her stay up most of the night, worrying about her.

It wouldn't be untill the next morning Anima woke up but Asami was missing, she rubbed her eyes as she got off couch, even though she slept sitting, Anima wasn't even aching.

She looked around and saw a note on a table, she picked it up and red it.

Dear Amy

I've gone to the pro bending arena to help Mako and Bolin pack meet me there when you can it's urgent

Anima raised an eyebrow in confusion "why would they need to pack?" Anima asked to no one as she got her keys and made her way towards the pro bending arena, as she pulled up she couldn't fail to notice all the police and the damage on the arena itself, she got out of her Sato-mobile and walked over the tape and headed inside.

She found the three people she was looking for and questioned what happened to the arena "what happened to the arena?"

Mako sighed as he packed a box full of his things "it was attacked by Amon" he said and Anima's eyebrows crossed as she put her hands on her hips "I knew something like this was going to happen" she said in an angry tone but Mako bit back with a tone of his own "if you knew then where were you!?"

"she was at my house" Anima looked up to the see Asami playing with pabu "she needed some love advise and she fell asleep" Asmai added as Korra came through the hatch into the room "guys great news-" Korra said before stopping herself as she saw Anima and immediately hugged her "thank the spirits your ok" she whispered still hugging her, Anima wrapped her arms around Korra as she looked at Asmai who smiled and mouthed "she likes  you"

"What's with all the worry?" Anima asked as Korra let go of her, Anima could see Korra's faint glassy eyes like she was holding back tears "the arena was attacked and I didn't see you anywhere but I saw Asami and I thought Amon took you and-" Korra was cut off by Anima placing her finger onto the water benders lips, making her blush slightly "I'm sorry for worrying you, i was safe at Asami's house" Anima told Korra, her body was filled with jealously, she couldn't help it, she tried to force it down but something was stopping her from doing it.

"oh" is all Korra could utter but it was full of jealously, Korra then walked up to the Mako "anyway I came here to tell you that Tenzin will let you live on air temple Island with me, you don't have to sleep on the streets" Korra said, a hint of jealously still remaining in her voice.

Anima found it a little cute and smirked "Asmai already invited us to live in her dad's giant mansion" Bolin said excitedly and Korra's mouth hung open a little " From Here On Out it's going to be the life of luxury for us"

"oh hey Korra" Asmai said making Korra's eyes widen "I was hoping you'd stop by" she said getting down from where she was "I was just leaving with Amy" Korra said in a low harsh tone as she faced the boys "so, I guess I'll see you guys around-sometime" she said grabbing hold of Anima's hand making her go near the hatch "whoa, Korra no pulling" she joked.

"why not tomorrow?, I'd love to have you come visit the estate" Asmai said placing one hand in her hip "I don't know, I have some Avatar stuff to do" she said but Anima placed her arm around Korra, making the girl blush and lean into her touch "come on Kory, it'll be fun to go, I'll be going if there's invites up for grabs" Anima smiled and Korra's breathing got heavier "o-o-ok I'll go if Amy's going" she said hiding her face in Anima's shoulder "great, we'll see you tomorrow" Asmai smiled as Korra and Anima went down the hatch.

While the two were walking, Korra kept glancing between Anima's face and her hand over her shoulder, the feeling of her touch was bliss, it made her feel, wonderful, she could no longer denie that her feelings for Anima had grown rapidly, but she still liked Mako, and still was very conflicted within herself.

When Korra thought Anima had been taken, she kept thinking that she wouldn't see her again and in her heart it terrified her to think of it.

Korra wasn't sure when to tell Anima her feelings, but then again, when she admitted her feeling to Mako, she thought at how badly that ended, and it made the Avatar sceptical to tell the truth to Anima.

"so Kory, wanna hitch a ride with me back to Air Temple Island?" Anika asked shaking her keys "sorry, Amy but I need to go speak with Tenzin and Lin, they're at the police station, unless you wanna drive me there" Korra said holding her right arm as she looked down and blushed a little "why not, I need to see my mother as well" Anima said as the two got inside the sato-mobile and drove towards the police station.
