~The Spirit Bender~

"radio the second you see those air benders" Lin says to Mako after giving Anima a radio box "I will chief" he nods his head before Lin looked at Anima and Korra and brining them into a tight hug "come back safe, please" she whispers into their ears, they let go of each other before Lin walked out of the air ship.

"she's really worried, never heard her say please" Korra commented as Anima hugged Asami "be careful Amy" the Sato girl says as she let go of and went to hug Korra "you too Korra"

"we will don't worry, everything will be fine" Korra says as she walks out of the air ship towards her dad.

"I've got a bad feeling about this" Anima whispered under her breath, the feeling deep in her hasn't gotten better, it got worse making her very worried about how everything is going to go down.

"hey Amy, it's time to go" Korra got her girlfriend's attention making her walk out of the airship, the tall girl noticed that the others had already left leaving the two alone "you ready for this?" Korra asked Anima before the purple eyed girl took a deep breath centering herself as much as possible "as ready as I'll ever be, Kory"

Korra smiled slightly before taking Anima's hand into her own "I'm scared too, but we'll be fine as long as we're together" Anima tightened her hand as she pulled Korra in for a kiss "as long as we're to together" Anima nodded as she extended the staff making its fabric wings come out making Korra follow her action.

They both took off into the air heading towards the place Zaheer told them to go, it was a short flight before they saw an airship and landed somewhat close to it as the bald man shouted "drop your staffs and surrender!"

They both stood strong with unflinching faces "don't make me come down there!" he shouted as Korra checked on the progress with the air benders "the lavabender is here and they're still tied up" Mako stated over the radio.

"tell that shaggy lavabender to let the air benders go!" Anima shouted firmly planting her staff into ground "not until you and the Avatar turn yourselfs over, this isn't a negotiation" the two vessels stood their ground after a few moments Zaheer grabbed his walkie talkie "wipe them out"

"No!" Anima shouted throwing her staff on the ground "we'll come please don't!" she shouted walking closer to Zaheer with her hands up, korra followed Anima throwing her staff down and dropping the heavy bag.

The combustion bender walked closer to the two placing cuffs on their wrists and ankles "don't bother trying to metal bend out of those, they're platinum" she stated before pushing the two forward.

"korra it was a trick they're not here!" Mako shouted through the radio "don't turn yourself over!"

Anima turned sharply and glared daggers towards Zaheer "we had a deal!" she shouted as both her and Korra jumped up and used their legs to air bend away from the two red lotus members.

Zaheer jumped into action as the two teenagers began bending any element they could towards the bald man, he dodged everyone one of their attacks before knocking the two out.

Lin, Su and a couple more people came up from the edge of the cliff running towards the two girls "take them on the ship, I'll deal with them" the combustion bender says as she jumped into action sending a powerful blast that launched a few off the cliff side, Lin and Su dodged and sent bolder after bolder towards P'li, who dodged and blew the rocks up to give Zaheer more time to take off.

"get up" Zaheer ordered dragging the two before they got their footing "you have no honour" Anima spat with venom on her voice as Zaheer guided the two inside the airship "I don't care" he says just as she Tonroq came out of nowhere knocking the new air bender back.

Korra lost her balance and fell off the ramp "Korra!" Anima shouted as Tonroq just caught his daughter with his water whip bringing her back up with great speed, as the Avatar got back on solid ground she made a whirlwind of fire directed towards Zaheer, making him stumble back a little.

Tonroq cut the ropes holding the airship making it float away, the man turned round facing the bald man "no where to run Zaheer!" he shouted and attacked him again.

The three attacked working together to try and take the man mad down but each of their attacks he other dodged or redirected back, the chains around their wrists and ankles making it harder for  the two teens, Anima used her earth bending to trip Zaheer up as Tonroq jumped going for the kill.

In a split second Zaheer rolled out of the way making Tonroq's sharp ice spike shatter on the ground, the bald man quickly blow the shards away leaving Tonroq with no water to bend "say hello to earth queen for me" Zaheer smiled sickly as he sent Tonroq off the edge of the cliff "Dad!" Korra shouted, Anima gasped looking towards Korra to see tears coming from her girlfriend.

The purple eyed girls face went dark as anger boiled in her veins as another explosion could be heard, Zaheer's face sank as he felt P'li die, he looked at the hole that was left in the ground "P'li!" he shouted leaving him open for an attack.

Anima took the chance and sent a shot of spirit energy towards him, he sensed it coming and quickly dodged, jumping up and sending a powerful shot of wind towards the two knocking them to the ground, passing out from the attack the two were left defenceless.

"no where to go Zaheer let Anima and Korra go, now!" Lin shouted at the man pure anger in her voice as Zaheer picked the two up, he looked at the two before him as he closed his eyes before stepping back off the cliff "No!" the two shouted as they ran towards the edge looking over and to their surprise seeing the man floating "is he, flying?" Su confusingly asked as he flew towards the airship the two sisters looking onward, Lin dropped to her knees gripping the ground in anger, sadness and guilt "I've failed them, how could I fail them" Lin said squeezing her eyes shut trying to hold back her tears.

Su dropped to her knee hugging her sister "we'll find them Lin" is the only thing Su could say as she held her sister holding back her own tears feeling the guilt within herself growing by the second.
