Fractured Relationship

Korra's eyes opened tiredly before she got up and stretched, the cover falling to her lap as she stretched her arms, the Avatar yawned before looking to her left to see Anima laying on her side "good morning, amante" Korra's raspy morning voice could be heard as she leaned down and kissed the purple eyed girl's head.

Anima still just layed there making Korra worry slightly "are you ok?" she asked getting closer to Anima, placing her hand on the girl's shoulder making her way to her hand and gently holding it, Anima sighed as she turned round revealing two red puffy eyes making Korra gasp "how long have you being crying?" Korra asked as she cupped Anima's face into her hands, examining the normally happy bright purple eyes.

"I don't know how long" Anima's voice broke as she whispered, Korra brought the girl into a hug, letting Anima's head sit comfortably on the top of her chest "is this about Lin?" Korra felt the girl's head nod a little making the Avatar groan angrily "is it ok if I stay in bed a little longer?" Anima asked shyly and Korra nodded letting go of the sad girl "I'll come back to check on you after breakfast, ok?" Korra asked, Anima nodded and got up before placing a soft kiss on the girl's forehead before putting some clothes on and tying her hair in her usual style before leaving the room, but not before looking back at Anima with a worried look on her face.

Lin was doing her morning routine like normal, she got up at 05:30am, got ready and sat reading todays paper, catching up in the news while drinking a coffee, the only difference been that Kya wasn't there with her.

Lin sighed as she put the paper down, she then got her wallet out and pulled out a picture, it had Anima, Korra, Kya and herself on it, the three girls were smiling while Lin herself had a little smile of her own.

She stared at her little family as a few tears came from her face, last night she couldn't sleep, her mind was to full of thoughts about what will happen because of her actions, she was thinking that she might of lost her daughter or even Kya when she finds out what she was like. Lin was terrified that she'd lose everything she'd worked so hard to get but her emotions kept getting the best of her, even if she went upto Anima or Opal, she knew that her issues with her sister would bring out the old stubborn moody woman she used to be.

Lin herself knew she was still stubborn and moody but it wasn't anything like how it used to be, but a little thought kept crossing her mind 'what if Korra is right' that she will always be a stubborn, moody old woman, who's always going to be alone.

Lin shaked her head slightly putting the thought to the back of her mind, she then out the picture back into her wallet and walked out of the door holding her head as the sunlight hit her eyes, She took a deep breath before looking to her right, seeing two guards slacking off.

She groaned slightly as she walked up to them "what do you two think you're doing?! Get back to work!" she shouted but a a throbbing pain went through her head making her groan in pain, she held her head as the truth seer walked up behind her "is everything alright here?" he asked making Lin turn round to face him, her eyebrows lowered in anger "my daughters-" she stopped for a second and corrected herself "my daughter and the Avatar are in danger and these two knuckleheads are just standing around chitchatting"

The truth seer walked closer placing his hand on the earth benders shoulder "don't worry. Zaofu is the most secure city in the world" Lin immediately shrugged him off "I'll be the judge of that" she says quickly but a little harshly "I'm going to check every inch of this place" she then began to walk off but the truth seer stopped her "Lin, you do not have to work while you are here, you need to relax" he says calmly.

"I'm fine!" she shouted but another wave of pain came to her head making her groan "it doesn't take a truth seer to know that you are under a dangerous amount of stress, if you don't deal with your repressed feelings, there will be severe consequences to your health.... And your job" Lin just held her angry face as she faced him again "I'm not interested in talking about my feelings"

He reached into his pocket and handed Lin a card "you won't have to say a word, this is a great acupuncturist in town, he'll be able to help you" Lin took the card, examening it, before walking off.

Anima was still laying in bed, staring at the ceiling, she sighed before a knock came from her door "who is it?" her voice cracked as the door opened slightly "hi, uh you don't me much but I'm Kuvira" a black haired woman's head popped through the door "I remember you, you were doing that dance thing with Su" Kuvira smiled slightly as she asked to enter fully, Anima nodded and Kuvira entered with a tray.

"Korra told me to bring you some food" Anima smiled as she got up into a sitting position, allowing Kuvira to place the tray on her lap "not to sound rude but why isn't Korra here?" she asked as polightly as she could making Kuvira laugh slightly "Su asked her to join her in the garden, so Korra asked me to bring some food" Kuvira explained as Anima looked at the tray.

It had the standard bacon and eggs with some tomatos and some weird green things that Anima didn't know "thank you, Kuvira" Anima smiled.

Kuvira smiled as she got up "anytime, if you're feeling better later on, do you want to train with me?" she asked and Anima nodded "sounds good, I can't wait to see what you can do"

Kuvira walked to the door and opened it "guess I'll see you later, Nima" she smirked "yeah, I guess you will, Vira" they both laughed slightly before Kuvira left Anima to eat her breakfast.

A/N now, I must tell you all that I now have a job, that's why it's taken so long to get this chapter out, but I do have days off during the week and a weekend off once every two weeks.

Also I'm thinking of a Voltron book now, me and my friend binged it and I'm obsessed with writing a book for it.

Anyway now it might be a little longer between chapters but I'm happy that people are still enjoying my little book, farewell for now.
