~The Spirit Bender~

After Trauma, Before Healing

Lin and Tonroq entered into the airship, walking towards a room to lay their daughters in so they could rest, Anima and Korra were gently laid down and their bodies instantly went together, as if it was like an instinct to cling onto each other. They held each other tightly, their bodies crying in pain only been soothed by the fact that they were both alive and together.

Lin placed her hand on Anima's hair moving her fingers through her daughter's brown wavy follicles "I failed you" Lin whispered lowering her head in shame "you haven't failed her" Lin felt Tonroq's hand on her shoulder "and you haven't failed Korra either, we all tried our best to keep them safe" Lin looked back at the two girls, who were still shaking from the pain, and shook her head standing up "if this is our best, we should stop trying" Lin walked out of the room making Tonroq sigh, looking back at the two teens before following the earth bender, closing the door lightly. Tonroq walked to the bridge of the airship "as fast as we can to republic city"

Meanwhile back in the room with the two spiritmates Anima eyes shot open briefly flashing purple before going back to normal "Korra!" she shouted as her body shot up, looking around the room in a panic before seeing her girlfriend beside her "oh thank the spirits" Anima held her head laying back down.

She raised her hand up to her face and saw it shaking, she closed her eyes and hand before putting it back down looking at Korra "oh amante" Anima whispered as she looked over Korra, seeing all the bruises, cuts and wounds she'd accumulated while fighting Zaheer, even though it pained her, Anima got up straining to the bathroom and turning on the tap splashing her face with water before looking into the mirror.

She looked at herself closely but suddenly she felt very anxious her heart sped up and her eyes rolled into the back of her head and she fell to the floor and shook violently.

Korra heard a bang and opened her eyes slightly, she looked around confused for a second but took a sharp breath when she saw Anima on the floor shaking, she tried to get up but fell to the floor, she didn't care about herself at the moment and wanted to get to Anima, using all the strength she had left Korra crawled to Anima "what do I do what do I do!?" Korra kept saying to herself, she'd never dealt with this sort of thing before and was super scared, seeing Anima like this made Korra more fearful then she'd ever been in her life, even worse then Zaheer nearing killing them.

Anima's shaking slowed down until she stopped allowing Korra to check on her, the avatar started by seeing if Anima was breathing before bringing her close with a hug "Korra?" Anima said making Korra let go of her so she could see Anima's face "have you been crying?" Anima asked making Korra confused "don't you remember what just happend?" Korra asked while wiping her tears "what happend?"

Korra grabbed Anima's hand "you was on the floor, shaking, I-I-I didn't know what to do, I was so s-scared I thought you was dying" Korra explained sobbing a little, the trauma of everything that's happend the last few days coming to the serface a little "Kory shhhhh" Anima whispered bringing Korra close to her, hugging the crying Avatar "I'm ok now, I'm not dead, neither are you" Anima said to try and sooth Korra.

"I had to c-crawl to you, I-I can't walk" Korra admitted, Anima picked Korra up, holding her tight "good thing I'm here for you" Anima kissed Korra's head gently before she strained back to the bed, putting Korra down, she bended some water from the tap and began to heal Korra as much as she could.

Korra could tell Anima was struggling to keep the water in her hands, seeing it nearly loose its shape "Anima stop" Korra said as she put her hand on Anima's arm "but you need to be healed" Anima strained nearly loosing the water again "I said stop" Korra commanded making Anima stop putting the water in the sink "I'm not worth the pain" Korra says lowly turning her head away from Anima.
