The Other Talk

"I'm sorry, Korra but my answer is still no" the president says getting very surprised looks from Korra, Anima Bumi, Kya and Tenzin, the group had made it to Republic city and told the president that they desperately needed his help, but he refused.

Anima stepped forward with a irritated face "don't you understand? Every single person on this planet is in danger! My sister is one of them, you will reconsider" Anima demanded but the president just looked at her unamused "I'm aware that lives are in danger, and that's precisely why my troop are staying here" he stated.

"if the world is going to be thrown into chaos, like you claim, I need to protect my citizens, I'm sorry" Bolin then went closer to the president and placed his hand on his shoulder "Sir, Nuktuk needs your help, I know you love helping people" Bolin smiles trying to get the president to help.

Anima then leaned closer to Korra "what's Nuktuk?" she whispered into her ear, Korra shrugged "don't know" she says as the president walked away after saying his word was final, Bolin slouched "I never should of saved that guy"

Asami then walked forward "if you guys need me, I'm here for you" she says with a smile, Anima smiled as she hugged Amsai "it's so good to see you again, Sami" the purple eyed girl then lifted Asami into air while still hugging her, making her laugh "it's good to see you too, Amy" she says sincerely as the two smiled at each other, but Korra fake coughed making them look at her.

The Avatar had her eyebrow raised as her arms were crossed, Anima playfully rolled her eyes and set Asami back on the ground, she then hugged Bolin and noticed his ripped blazer, showing off his muscles.

"oh my, Bolin holding all the power" she teased making the man child blush slightly "I guess, yeah" from behind her Anima heard Korra deeply huff making her smile at the though of how cute she looked in that moment, she then turned around and saw Korra with a jealous pout, the purple eyed girl walked over to Korra and held her waist, placing her head on the smaller girls shoulder.

The act made Korra blush slightly as she leaned into Anima's touch, the moment made Asmai smile as she knew instantly that her best friend and the Avatar had finally expressed their feelings for each other, Anima then realised something as she looked round for a certain fire bender "wait, wheres Mako?" she asked, Asmai and Bolin nervously looked at each other "he's sort of, well in prison" Asmai says as she scratched her neck, the two spiritmates mouths hung open slightly at the new information, they all decided to go to the police station and get him.

While at the police station it gave Kya and Lin to have a good talk, while Mako's release papers were being processed, Lin took Kya to her office, and as Kya shut the door, Lin brought her into a passionate kiss, making the water benders knees feel weak.

Lin wrapped her arms around Kya's neck as Kya wrapped her arms around Lin's waist deepening the kiss, they both missed each other badly, being separated for a while made them want to lose control right in Lin's office, but they both controlled themselves as they separated, placing their four heads together, their eyes closed as they smiled lightly.

"I missed you" Lin says softly making Kya sigh happily "I missed you, too" Lin then let go of Kya as they separated from each others hold "how was Ani, did her training go well?" Lin asked as she walked behind her desk, looking at a few files.

"yeah, she did good, her and Korra are together by the way" Kya says like it was an everyday saying, Lin's head quickly shot up looking at her girlfriend, seeing the raised eyebrow and angry look on her "why didn't you tell me Anima was gay, why are you keeping us a secret from her?" Kya asked walking closer to Lin's desk.

Lin didn't say anything for a moment, she just stared at the water bender untill she sighed and looked out of her office window "I honestly don't know, I guess I just didn't want her to know so soon" Kya just sighed as she rolled her eyes at Lin's poor excuse "that's not a good enough reason, Beifong"

Lin then turned around to face the water bender, a stern look on her face " I didn't want her to know yet because I'm scared of what's going to happen" Kya looked at the chief confused, Lin sighed as she slumped onto her chair, placing her hands on he face and slowly dragging them down.

"for 10 years I wasn't a big part of her life I missed so much, and I hate myself for it, my daughter is my whole world and I've just got her back and I don't want to lose her again, nobody even knows I'm Bisexual and I'm afraid that if I tell her, I'll lose her again" Lin lowered her head as her eyes glossed over, Kya quickly went to her girlfriend and hugged her, bringing Lin's head just below her chest, wrapping her arms around her neck "I had no idea you felt like this, I'm so sorry" Kya then bent down to kiss Lin's four head trying to comfort her.

Lin wrapped her arms around Kya's waist, bringing the woman closer "I know she'll accept us, but it's the fear that she won't-Stop" Kya cut off Lin and bent down to her eye level as the water bender held both her hands "Anima is a loving accepting girl, and you're her mother, she'll accept you in heartbeat, she'll accept us, so please don't think like a dummy and just tell her" Kya smiled as Lin laughed a little before nodding "I'm going to tell her" The earth bender then pecked Kya's lips before standing up, going to her door and asking a officer to get Anima.

After a few minutes Anima walked in and looked at the two woman before her "you wanted to see me?"

Lin took a deep breath as she glanced at Kya, who nodded, Lin then looked back at her daughter "I have something to tell you, and it isn't easy for me" Lin then closed her eyes and took another breath "I'm Bisexual, and I'm dating Kya"

Lin looked at Anima's face, unable to see the emotion that was on it "say something" Lin slightly begged but she was met with arms being wrapped around her, leaving her in a shocked state, Anima then let go of her mother, revealing a big smile on her face "mom, I'm so proud of you" Lin smiled a little as she wrapped her arms around her daughter "thank you" Lin's voice was a little shaky as she was holding back her tears of relief and happiness.

Kya looked upon the mother and daughter with a happy smile, she was so happy that Anima finally knew about the two, suddenly Anima stretched her arm out towards Kya "come on family hug time" she says excitedly, Kya went and wrapped her arms around the two as they all just hugged for a few moments, enjoying the feeling.

There was a knock at the door making then jump apart, Lin cleared her throat "come in" she says and a officer walked on "Mako is cleared for release, chief" she informed Lin who nodded "thank you for telling me" The officer nodded before walking out of the office "right, time to see fireboy" Anima smiles as they walked out of the office and joined a small group of people, which included Korra, Asmai, Tenzin, Bumi and few metal bending officers.

"Hi Amy" Korra smiled as she kissed her cheek hugging the taller girl "what a lovely greeting, Kory" Anima smiled, the people around then started clapping as they saw Mako coming with Bolin.

"nice job, Mako you're going to make a great detective" Lin compliments him as he looked at everyone and paused on Asmai, who nervously looked down blushing slightly, she walked towards him, bringing him into a hug before kissing him.

Anima had a happy smile on her face, she was happy for her friend, she was even happy for Mako, the two seemed like a good match, but if he hurt her again Anima would hurt the fire bending boy "you go, Sato!" Anima shouted making the two stop kissing and blush madly "so when did this happen?" Korra asked as she held Anima's hand walking towards the two.

"were not dating" Mako says as he grabbed Asami's hand gently and smiled at her "not yet anyway" he says softly "I'm happy for you both, truly" Korra says with a smile as Tenzin walked upto them "in sorry to be a bother but we don't have much time, we need to figure out how to deal with Unalaq" he says with concern.
