I was lying on my bed trying to get a rest. Ben had too much of a revelation today. Ben can actually be annoying as hell, bad as a devil, and despicable too but he's never a liar. His eyes, they were so sincere.
The truth is I see him almost every day since 2 months ago, the reason, why I am not that, stressed anymore, because I saw him peeping the door of pretending to be a nurse, sometimes a food attendant or even a janitor. Minsan ay natatawa na lang ako because he's trying so hard kaya magpapanggap akong tulog twing papasok sya. Hindi naman talaga sya masyado nagsasalita, he will just say sorry and I love you then caress my face, hold my hand and my bulging tummy tapos lalabas na din sya na hindi man lang napapansin na gising ako. Hindi talaga syang papasa na spy! Bagsak sa stalking skills.
Ang isa lang talaga ang pinagtataka ko is he seemed to be too scared of what Dad told him. Nagpapakahirap syang pasilip silip lang sa akin, how did Daddy made him like that?
"Wife, would you like something to eat?"
"Can you heat up the milk for me, please? I want warm fresh milk."
"Of course wife. I'll be back fast."
Ben left to heat the milk at the pantry.
Someone then knocked on the door.
"Hi, Mommy..."
I smiled.
A nurse and Lana's pedia brought my baby to me.
"Alana..."
"Doc,.."
The nurse smiled at me too and gave me the baby. The doctor helped me with my baby.
"She was so brave Mommy, let's try if she could latch. If she can, you both can be home the day after tomorrow."
Ben came in, lumapit sya sa aming mag-ina. The doctor looked at Ben then at me.
"He's my husband Doc."
"Hi Sir nice to see you, it's actually good that you are here, you can help your wife and baby."
At first, nahihirapan si Alana. Gusto kong umiyak kasi nalulungkot ako, hindi pa sya makakauwi kapag di pa sya makalatch. Hindi pa nya kami makakasama.
Ben caressed Alana's small face, hold her tiny little hands and cheer his daughter.
"Baby, you can do this, c'mmon. Please."
Alana then suckled and latched! I was crying with so much joy. Ben immediately wiped my tears and kissed both me and Lana.
"She was such a strong baby girl."
I am cryingly smile at the doctor.
"Thank you, Doc."
"Pano, iiwan na namin kayo? We'll just leave the baby bed here. Enjoy your first family day."
"Thank you so much po Doc."
The nurse asked Ben
"Sir would you like me to take a photo of you?"
Ben without hesitation gave his phone.
"1 2 3 smile..."
"Thank you, Nurse."
"You're welcome po Sir, Maam."
While I was feeding Lana, Ben caresses our little Baby again.
"I love you, Lana, Daddy loves you and Mommy so much."
Sa ganoong sitwasyon kami naabutan ni Ate.
"Ay wow, happy family???"
"Ate talaga."
