Hissing underneath my breath, I scrunch my eyes up tightly as I slowly sit up. The back of my neck, my entire back and my shoulders stiff with every movement that I made. A small sniffle leaving my lips as I sit up right, my eyes slowly trying to reciprocate and adjust to the dim lighting of the room that I suddenly find myself in. My heart slamming against my rib cage, fear clawing at my stomach as I look around. Biting my lip, I clear my throat and dig my nails into the palms of my hands, my neck screaming in pain as I crane my neck to have a look around. Wanting to get a feel for where I was, sniffling when I shake my head.

Where the hell am I?...

Sniffling gently, I bite back a sob as I close my eyes. My wrists feeling heavy. Clearing my throat, I look down at my lap and gasp gently when I see metal cuffs strapped to my wrist. Chains connected to them slides up toward the wall behind me, pooling on the floor making me sniffle. My heart sinking to my stomach as I feel the same weight on my ankles. I'm chained down. I'm stuck in this room. I'm trapped... I don't even know what's going on!

As I look around, I drink in the room that I've been dumped in. It's practically bear. There are just four walls that have peeling wallpaper and a rather horrific smell that's paving it's way through. The floor is dirty and I'm pretty sure there's a puddle of dried up blood in the corner which makes my stomach do uncomfortable somersaults. There's a single lightbulb that seems to flicker on and off on its own. The bed beneath me is creaky. It's uncomfortable and I'm pretty sure the springs are poking out of the mattress. It's a hovel...

Gulping anxiously, I push to my feet and take a deep breath. The chains clinking and hitting each other as I take a step toward the door. My feet feeling heavier and heavier as I walk closer, a small sniffle leaving my lips as I realise the chains begin to strain when I get halfway across the room. My heart shattering as I fall to the ground and shake my head. Sniffling to myself, I burst into tears while shaking my head.

Immediately, I spread my wings and wrap them around my body. Practically shielding me from the world. Trying to calm myself down as I sob to myself and cover my face. My wings tightly wrap around my body, trying to give me some sort of comfort. The softness of the feathers brushing against my arms and cheeks as I take a shaky breath and shake my head. I can't... I just... I can't... I don't understand what's going on...

And Keigo...

Hopefully Keigo is okay and he'll be here to save me soon enough. He knows what he's doing and I need to trust that. He's saved me before... well, it wasn't really saving I just managed to bump into him at the right time. He knows what he's doing. He's with Endeavor and he's the number one hero. They have to be here soon. They wouldn't just let me rot here until.... they'll be here! I know they will. Keigo will come, I'll be saved and everything will go back to normal...

God. And Angel. She should be okay. She has to be okay. I made sure she was safe. Keigo should get home and let mom look after her until I am rescued. Angel will be fine. She's a strong little pup. She's my baby. She'll be fine... She'll give me all the cuddles I need as soon as I get home and we can watch tv like we always do. She'll snuggle into my feathers, nipping at my fingers whenever I poke her nose and yap at me when she wants food. It'll all work out. It has to...

I have to have hope.

Before I could even think about doing anything else, the door creaks open. My heart in my throat as I look up from my knees and take a deep breath. My wings immediately sheathing themselves back in before anything else could happen, I refuse to allow anything to happen to my wings. A small sigh leaving my lips as I tuck a strand of hair behind my ear and looking toward the two people that's invaded my space. My eyes focusing on the pair of them, my nails digging into my palms.
