2016- Just outside Hebron, Newfoundland and Labrador

"Are you sure it's James?" Steve asked as he crouched down beside me also examining the markings.

"Positive, unless there's another adamantium clawed being running around." I said showing him my claws and holding them against the markings.

"Does this change the plan?" Wanda asked and I shook my head.

"No" I said out loud but it means more is at stake.

I looked at them and I still didn't want to believe it but it was clear as day, I had more questions than answers at this point, was James going after Victor too? Or worse did James lose his way? Either way I was on the potential road to seeing both my brothers again and that terrified me the most.

"Are you okay?" Wanda asked; I turned to look at her and I could feel the worried expression she was dawning.

"Yes, this changes nothing, whether James is on the hunt for Victor or just passing through, it doesn't matter, we're on the right track." I said, I could also feel the monotone leaching into my speech, I knew I was trying not to give away my emotion.

"Okay, let's get some rest." Steve said as he got up and walked out of the bedroom.

I sat back on the bed and had my back turned to both Natasha and Wanda, I knew they were probably sharing a look of worry between each other and I groaned. I leaned my head into my hands and closed my eyes, I never expected to run into James again.

"I'm fine, you can ask anything you need too." I said getting the two girls attention but still having my back turned to them.

"What if it's not Victor at all Julia, what if it's just James?" Natasha asked and I took a deep breath.

"The thought crossed my mind that maybe James lost his way and the thought of having to possibly put him down if I couldn't convince him otherwise also crossed my mind. It's all crossed my mind Natasha I just can't get my head wrapped around any of it, so until proven otherwise, I'm going to assume James is going after Victor too, okay?" I said, turning to both of the girls and they nodded.

"Okay." Natasha said and she got up.

"Where are you going?" I asked, this was her room too.

"Letting you process, I'll see you in the morning." Natasha finished, turning away but giving a small nod to Wanda like I wouldn't notice.

"I don't want to talk about it, Wanda." I said sternly.

"We don't have too, I'm just going to lay beside you and make sure you're not alone."

I looked at her as she got on the bed and laid her head on the pillow beside mine. I took a deep breath trying to stop any tears that threatened to fall. I laid beside her not really caring about space at this point but I remained staring at the ceiling. I felt her hand in mine and I felt a warmth I had never really experienced before, I let a tear escape before I could stop it and she squeezed tighter. My eyes were growing heavy and so was my heart, I found myself hoping and praying that James was still the James I remembered.

I woke up to the sun hurting my eyes, it must have just been past dawn so I got myself out of bed and stretched my muscles. I looked over to Wanda who was still fast asleep and I realized I didn't have a nightmare last night. I smiled at how rested and peaceful she looked, I almost didn't want to wake her so instead I exited the room closing the door quietly. I came face to face with Natasha as she also closed her bedroom door and she smiled at me.
