2023- Just outside Grovedale, Alberta: Day 1

"Guys, we have a huge problem." Dr. Lewis said into her phone as we entered the tent and I just felt more confused.

I didn't know how so many years of my life could just be a blur to me, all I remember is the beginning of World War II and that's it. It even took me a few minutes to remember my own name, everything made 0 sense and now this woman was screaming that she had a problem. Wasn't exactly settling.

"Dr. Lewis, you can let go of my arm now." I said, gesturing to my arm that was in her death grip.

"Sorry, sorry, you have no idea what I'm saying and I don't know how to make you understand so I need you to sit on the cot and I'll be right back." Dr. Lewis said quite frantically and I nodded.

Dr. Lewis left the room and I sat on the cot. I took the moment to look at myself, there was a mirror with a sink beside the bed and I got up to look at myself. That was clearly a bad idea because I looked like what I remembered but I wasn't at the same time. I touched my face and ran my fingers over the fresh scar that ran from the top of my left eyebrow to the bottom of my eye. What happened to me? And my body felt different, it felt stronger than what I was used to.

I finally looked down to my hand and my right had some scarring on it that originated from my knuckles and travelled up my forearm. I touched the scarring but it didn't hurt and I flipped my hands around. Everything was so heightened, I was used to my abilities but this was something else, I was different. I extracted my claws expecting pain but nothing came and my claws were no longer bone.

"What the-" I retracted one set of claws and touched the other with my fingers. They were metal, a brushed metal to be exact, almost black, I liked it. Is this what made me feel stronger?

I picked up voices all of a sudden and one of them sounded like Dr. Lewis so I focused a little harder on the words.

"You don't understand, he resurrected her by using Wanda's power." I heard Dr. Lewis say and I wasn't sure if they were talking about me. What did she mean resurrected?

"How is that possible?" now it was a man's voice that I didn't recognize but I didn't recognize anyone at this point. I hoped that would change.

"I don't know but she's alive and walking around with a scar on her eye and has no idea who she is!" why was Dr. Lewis so frantic?

"Darcy, calm down, you're assigned to her right? We can take advantage of that, we'll show her the tapes Hayward asks of us but we'll tell her the truth, she deserves to know and once she remembers she'll turn her back on him so fast." the other woman spoke up again and that confirmed that they were talking about me. I was dead at some point? How?

"Let's meet her." the man said and I sat back down on my cot before they could enter.

Dr. Lewis walked back into my tent along with another man and woman beside her. I looked at them and they looked at me with shocked expressions. Okay who the hell was I to these people?

"Julia?" the man spoke up.

"Yeah? Do I know you?" I asked and he shook his head.

"No, I'm Agent Jimmy Woo and this is Agent Monica Rambeau." Jimmy said, pointing at the other woman I didn't recognize.

"In other circumstances I would say nice to meet you but I'm very confused." I said, to be honest.

"And that's completely normal, you've been through an ordeal of sorts, we're here to help you." Monica said, coming closer to me.

"Can someone start by explaining to me how my bone claws turned to metal?" I asked while extracting my claws and they all flinched a little.

"That is a long story we don't fully know, the file we have on you originates from 2016 onwards, we don't have any info on you before that." Jimmy explained but then Monica stepped in.
