2014- VormirWhen I opened my eyes I saw the abnormal purple sky and I became annoyed. I really hated this place. I sat up and saw Wanda looking over me like she was waiting for me to get up.
"Hey, you okay?" she asked and I nodded.
"Yeah, where's Yelena?"
"Throwing up, the chronoshift did not agree with her." Wanda reached her hand out to help me up and I took it.
"Yeah, it'll make you sick for a hot minute, are you good though?" I asked the Sokovian and she nodded.
"Yeah, I'm good." I smiled and squeezed her hand.
"C'mon let's grab malen'kiy (little one)" I said, pulling Wanda in the direction Yelena was currently vomiting her lungs out in.
"What does that mean? I hear you call her that a lot but I obviously don't know what you guys are saying when you speak Russian." Wanda asked with a laugh.
"Oh, it means little one."
"Cute." Wanda commented but before I could say anything Yelena finally finished vomiting and met us halfway to where we were going.
"Okay, I'm good now, where are we going?" Yelena asked as soon as she was in talking distance and I pointed up at the mountain.
"Unfortunately, up there. Your leg can handle it, right?" I asked, pointing at Yelena's gunshot wound.
"It's fine, let's do this." I nodded and we began walking towards the mountain but my hand clasped in Wanda's pulled me back.
I looked at Wanda to see what the hold up was and she had a smile on her face that made me feel a certain type of way but I couldn't pinpoint the emotion she was giving me.
"I can just teleport us up there, you know?" Wanda said.
"Right, I forgot you could do that."
"Oh thank god because my leg is killing me." Yelena commented, coming back towards Wanda.
"Okay, hold on to any part of me." Wanda instructed and I let go of her hand to hold onto her waist.
"Yeah I'm holding your cape, if that's okay." Yelena said as she noticed my arm wrapped around Wanda's waist and quirked her eyebrow.
"Rebenok (child)" I said.
"Suka (bitch)" Yelena said back to me and I flipped her off.
"Alright, hold on." Wanda's energy surrounded us and I closed my eyes.
I didn't open them again until the weird motion stopped. When I did open them we were on top of the mountain where I knew Red Skull would somehow appear out of nowhere. I released my hold on Wanda and Yelena did the same as she ran behind a rock to throw up again.
"Sorry, I should have warned you, teleporting isn't fun either." Wanda apologized and Yelena gave her a death glare.
"Don't feel bad, I did the same thing the first time she did it to me, it's a fucked feeling." I tried to sympathize with Yelena but she just looked annoyed.
"Whatever, let's start looking."
I started walking up the rest of the way to the cliff I knew all too well. The other 2 women followed me and as we approached my stomach tied itself into a knot, my heart literally residing in my throat.
"This is it." I said, pointing to the edge of the cliff.
"This is where she sacrificed herself." my words were getting caught in my throat and I don't know how I didn't expect this feeling to emerge.
