"Who are they?" I asked still confused, nobody knew I was even alive, how could anyone demand my presence?

"We aren't sure, we can't pick up on our video feed, something is interfering with it we can only hear them. They say they mean no harm but I am not so sure." Okoye walked Natasha and I into the lab where T'Challa and Shuri were surrounding the surveillance hologram but nothing was showing up.

I walked up to the hologram and Shuri pointed to the left-side button to speak.

"What is it that you want?" I asked into the speaker and a rather calm voice spoke back.

"All we wish to do is to speak with Julia Howlett." a British man spoke back and I was once again confused.

"Well, you're speaking to her." I said and I waited for his reply.

"Miss. Howlett, I don't know if you know me but I knew your brother quite well, I would just like a word in private." the British voice spoke back.

I turned to look at T'Challa who was shaking his head, Natasha was also doing so but the mere mention of him knowing my brother made me feel comfortable going out there. James didn't know a lot of people, he barely liked anyone and for this man to claim that he knew James well then I knew I could trust him. At least that's what I hoped.

"Give me ten minutes." I spoke into the comm and everyone grumbled around me.

"Are you insane?!" Natasha questioned.

"No, none of you should be worried, if you haven't noticed, I'm literally the strongest being on the planet right now and I can't die. I'm going out to the barrier to talk to this man, I'll hear him out and if he's lying in the slightest. I'll attack, it's that simple." I explained.

T'Challa was going to speak up until his phone rang. He answered it and he sounded surprised but also confused. When he finally hung up he turned to me with a look of pure confusion on his face.

"My King's Guard just informed me that the man at the barrier is in a wheelchair, he poses no threat and only has one man accompanying him." T'Challa explained and I could see how that could be confusing.

"Shuri, can I have my suit? I'm going out there." I instructed and Shuri nodded.

"It could be a trap, Julia, come on, think about it." Natasha tried but I just held her face in my hands to calm her down.

"Natasha, everything will be okay, I promise. Just trust me."  Natasha shook her head.

"I can't lose you again."

"You won't" I placed a chaste kiss on her lips before Shuri came back with a rather large briefcase.

"Here you go, if the Phoenix Force can't protect you, this suit sure as hell will."' Shuri slid the briefcase to me across the table and I grabbed it.

"Let's go." I said to T'Challa and he nodded.

"I'll see you in a minute." I joked but Natasha did not find that funny.

"That isn't funny."

"It kinda is." I called back to her as I walked away.

T'Challa and I made it out onto the large field situated outside the facility when I had finished putting the suit on which, much like all of Shuri's suits, felt like second skin on my body. We both walked out to the edge of the barrier and as the two men came into my vision the King's Guard had been right, one of them really was in a wheelchair and the other was just standing beside him.

"They look, kind of friendly?" I said questioningly.

"So does a sloth until you piss it off." I rolled my eyes at T'Challa's comment and didn't have time to retaliate as we made it to the edge.
