2023- Just outside Grovedale, Alberta: Day 7

"Alright, with confirmation from Agent Rambaeu and Agent Woo, Weapon W is now prepared to enter the hex." I heard Director Hayward speak as I sat at the head of the table.

"You bet I am." I said and only Jimmy and Monica knew the double meaning I carried in my words.

Last night was a stressful night, I had learned everything about my relationship with Wanda. I was more upset that I couldn't remember anything and as soon as I saved that town and Wanda, I was going to stick a fork in Hayward myself. I was hoping when I saw Wanda everything would come back to me, but that wasn't a guarantee.

I watched the footage of the reality Wanda had created as well. Everything was based around some sort of sitcom throughout the years. Something about the theme rang so many bells with me but no memory could be matched to it. It was frustrating. This reality was basically created out of grief, she was so distraught about my death and not being able to obtain my body she just broke down. I was still lost as to why she went to my hometown, that was something no one knew. I figured I would find out eventually if I could reach Wanda.

"Weapon W, are you ready?" Hayward asked excitedly.

"My name is Julia Logan Howlett and yes I am."

"Good." Hayward brought in a suit that was very similar to the one that was made for me in Wakanda but I shook my head.

"I want my original suit. The one I died in." I said deadpan.

"This suit is brand new, it even has your logo-"

"I don't care. It's not mine." I said, getting up.

"I'm getting my suit." I walked out of the strategy tent and went to the one that had my torn up suit.

I walked in and Monica was there waiting for me. She had the suit folded up in her arms. She knew I would choose that one.

"You knew?"

"I did, it's smart, if Wanda sees you in that suit she will most likely let you reach her." Monica said, handing me the suit.

"Thank you." Monica nodded and moved to exit the room but something was weighing me down and I needed to get it off my chest.

"Monica."

"Yeah?"

"What do I do about the kids?" I asked, referring to the false children Wanda had created. They were technically mine, right?

"You do whatever feels right." I nodded and she exited the tent.

I stripped myself of my S.W.O.R.D clothing and slipped on the suit. It felt like a second skin to me, it was like I was made to wear it and I guess that made sense. I looked at myself in the long mirror and smiled.

"Go be who you are." I whispered to myself. I was really hoping some memories would come back but I didn't know anything.

I exited the tent and went to where the force field started. Monica and Director Hayward were waiting for me. I swallowed hard as I approached.

"Let's do this." I nodded to them both. I really hated Hayward.

"Alright, you're going to need to put this suit overtop of the one you're wearing. Everyone who enters the Hex doesn't recall who they are, they conform to Wanda's reality. This will prevent that." Monica explained and I nodded just grabbing the helmet.

"I just need the helmet, I'm literally made of vibranium, so is the suit." Monica nodded realizing my point.

"Don't get cocky Howlett, Maximoff's power is unmatched-"
