I could hear the birds chirping and that was what woke me. I looked down to see Wanda still sleeping peacefully on my chest so I didn't move a muscle. I tried looking at my watch and managed to get a glimpse with little to no movement; it read 12pm, shit, we must've been exhausted. I laid back for another half an hour and Wanda began to stir. Her head lifted itself off my chest and she rested her chin on it instead to look at me.

"Morning." she said in her very raspy Sokovian accent which did things to me that shouldn't be possible this close to just waking up.

"Hey, how did you sleep?"

"Good, what about you? Any nightmares?" Wanda questioned and I shook my head.

"Nope, not a single one, it was really nice." I told her and she smiled.

"That makes me happy." she said as she got up and out of the bed.

I didn't notice what she was wearing last night but her sleep attire was so cute. It was this oversized t-shirt and soccer shorts, I smiled at how good she looked right when waking up.

"What're you looking at?" she questioned and I shook myself out of my trance.

"Nothing, you just look really good in the morning." I said honestly and I tuned into her heartbeat which elevated.

"Thank you." she said bashfully as she escaped out of the room to shower.

I jumped out of the bed next and went out to the kitchen where Natasha was making coffee.

"Hey, there's coffee in the pot." Natasha spoke up pointing to the coffee pot situated beside the stove.

"Great, did you manage to get any sleep?" I asked but she shook her head.

"I guess that night in Manitoba was a fluke." my smile fell a little; or maybe she felt safe with me and managed to let her guard down enough to sleep.

"Or maybe it was me?" I questioned but she shook her head again.

"Doubtful." was all she said and I was a little hurt but shook it off.

"Do you want to help me today?" she asked pointing to the computer screen which had the schematics to the Howlett family farmhouse on it.

"I don't know Natasha, you and Steve are experts at this." I said skeptical, I didn't want to create a plan that goes horribly wrong and someone gets hurt.

"What better way to learn and you know this place better than any of us." she had a very valid point, I remembered the farmhouse like it was yesterday, how my father would bring me to see the horses in the stables, the poor family that lived there before my brothers took over probably didn't have a chance.

"You're right." I said pulling up a chair next to Natasha and looking at the computer screen with her.

"I think I should go scope it out." I spoke up after 20 minutes of plotting and Natasha looked at me curiously.

"It's not a 100 percent guarantee they're there, I should see if they are." I explained.

"I think you going is a horrible idea." she said flipping through the blueprints.

"It's what they'll be expecting and the chances of them finding you and possibly taking you hostage is high, Victor wanted you to come find him, why?"

"We have to think of all possibilities, okay?" Natasha finished and I nodded, I wasn't winning this one.

"Let's do it." we heard Wanda come into the room.
