"So this must be it, right? It's just like I remember it. The last time I passed these gates, I was about fifteen." Emily says as we pass the big gates of the property. I nod quietly, taking in the surroundings of the big property Caine's parents own.

Everything around here screams money and beauty.

The garden is beautiful. There are a lot of beautiful plants growing in it, and I spot my favorite type of flowers. Lilies have always been my favorite type of flower. The flowers look exotic, and their bright colors remind me of summer vacation on a tropical island. I can tell the garden is well maintained. They probably have a gardener who does the work.

The mansion is even more beautiful than the garden. It has a French Country style, which I love. The front is covered with English ivy plants, making it look green and fresh. The original off-white color is almost gone because the plants cover most of the walls.

I remember Caine speaks French fluently, and I believe his family is originally from France. I'm not sure though as I haven't asked anyone about it, but I thought there were some rumors about him being French, which is attractive to a lot of girls.  I don't remember it too well so I have actually no clue.

The front door is left open as Caine doesn't seem to feel like greeting all of his incoming guests. There are always a lot of people at their parties. The bad boys seem to know how to throw a good party, as their parties are famous among our school and many other schools. It has its consequences, like having a huge crowd inside their houses.

We enter the house, and the odor of sweat, liquor, and a dog reaches my nose. I wonder where the last odor comes from. I give a disbelieving look at the number of jackets laying around on the floor, and I decide not to leave my jacket there.

As we exit the entrance, the sound of loud music and talking people reaches my ear. They're playing some pop songs, and I only recognize some of them. There's a huge crowd dancing on the dance floor, and other people are sitting on the sofas on the side of the room.

The doors to the garden are open, and there's also a huge crowd standing in the garden. It's still pretty nice weather outside, but it will be getting chilly later tonight. I'm glad I brought a jacket with me. I brought one just in case it would be cold tonight, and I'm glad I thought of it.

"Hey, I'm glad you both made it. Can I get you anything to drink? I have a lot of options so just tell me what you want." Caine says, walking towards us. He's wearing a pair of dark grey jeans, a white shirt, and a green check shirt, which makes him look handsome as hell.

His soft-looking hair is still a little bit wet from the shower he took after the game. It looks like he didn't bother doing something about it, but he still manages to make it look decent. His wounds look clean too, but still painful.

"It wasn't like I was given a choice. I'm going for a soda. I suppose I'm going to be the one to take her home tonight so I'm not drinking." I say, pointing at Emily beside me. She gives me some offended sounds before she shifts her attention to the host of the party.

"Can you get me something with alcohol in it? I'm feeling like getting drunk tonight, but I promise I will keep myself sober enough to get home safely." She says, giving me a promising look. I raise my eyebrows at her out of disbelief.

Seeing is believing, Emily.

"I really am, A. I'm not going to get super wasted tonight. I promise you." She says, smiling shortly as she looks at me. I shrug my shoulders, acting like I didn't hear her making the promise, which she's not going to be able to keep.

"Seeing is believing, Em," I say, shrugging my shoulders as my gaze shifts towards Caine, who is still standing in front of us. He follows our discussion with amusement.
