*Bang!*
The bullet whirled in the air, and made contact with an unsuspecting walker. I looked to my side at Alize, who triumphantly smiled to herself. She made eye contact with me, and smiled brightly. I smiled back and nodded my head, in recognition.
Behind her, I could see Nya looking at the dead walker with disappointment and a little bit of anger.
"Hey!" Nya shouted at Alize.
Confused, Alize turned to Nya on Ryder. Nya strolled up to Alize on snow and glared at her.
"That was my kill" Nya said.
Alize shrugged, not caring about her accusation.
"Well I killed it didn't I?" Alize said,
Nya's eyes met Alize, and I could see her visually tense. Nya then raised her gun, and pointed it at Alize.
My stomach immediately dropped and I started to race towards them. My heart was racing, and my mind was currently discombobulated.
Everything was silent. The only thing I could hear was the gallops from Nova, and my heart thumping.
*thump thump*
*thump thump*
*bang!*
At the sound of the gun going off, I felt as if I had been shot straight through my heart. I couldn't breathe, and it was madly painful. My stomach did uncomfortably twists and turns, while my breathing became more rapid.
When I looked up at Nya, blood was splattered across her face. I wanted to cry, no, I wanted to vomit.
"Are you crazy!".
I froze. I then looked at the girl in front of Nya, on a very on edge looking Ryder. Alize, couldn't have been more spooked in her life.
I suddenly felt warmth and relief go through me. For a second there, I thought Nya was going to hurt Alize. Nya looked at Alize like she was insane.
"I saved your life!" Nya shrieked.
I smiled as I saw the lifeless body of the white male walker, and I was especially happy that it wasn't a white female, eight years old, with brown hair, and brown eyes, named Alize.
I sighed in relief and grabbed a cloth from my back pack. I then went up to Nya on Nova, and wiped her face, taking the nasty infected blood off of her.
Alize didn't comment, but glared at Nya before patting Ryder's head in reassurance. taking the now dirty rag, I went to the nearest clearing and set it on fire, making sure nothing else but the rag burned.
Which reminds me...
As I was turning around, I saw that the girls had the same thought as me and set the walker's bodies on fire.
2 down, 23 more to go.
I looked around for Raiden, who was riding Storm and also helping with killing zombies. When I didn't see him, I could feel myself starting to have doubtful thoughts.
The question I had roaming inside my head, finally made an appearance and absolutely made me doubt my trust for this idiotic stranger.
Then, as if a miracle, Storm jumped out of the woods with a wailing Raiden on top.
"That. was. AWESOME!" I heard Raiden yell.
I rolled my eyes, and chuckled at his childish behavior before guiding Nova towards the lunatic.
