I opened my heavy eye lids and turned my head to the side. Sleeping in a car is the most uncomfortable thing in the universe. Letting out a sigh I rubbed my eyes, to make the tiredness go away, and glanced at my mom.

"Mom" I croaked.

My mom gave me a small glance and smiled warmly at me.

"Morning" She said softly.

I let out a yawn and sat up.

"How long was I asleep?" I asked.

She stared back at the road and slowed down, when we saw a line of cars ahead.

"About 50 minuets" She answered.

I looked at the line of cars, and saw how irritated my mom seemed.

"That's the way out of Oregon isn't it" I asked.

She sighed, but nodded.

I looked to my side to see people running, from other people who seemed just as crazy as the man I hit with the wooden stick. Many of those people that were running stopped by cars up ahead and pounded on the windows. However only a few people opened the door to the ones who weren't acting weird. A piercing scream filled the air, and I quickly looked to my right to see a women being tackled and bitten, by one of the crazy people.

I only seen this type of stuff happen in Movies, or in C.O.D zombies. It's only time that I except the fact that they are real, and I'm watching people get killed by them, not in a movie, but in REAL life.

A zombie then came up to my window and started banging on it. Nyaliz let out a piercing scream making me look back at her in worry. I watched as a women this time, started to bang on her window too, It wasn't until it cracked a little bit that, my mom reacted and reversed out of the line. She did a U-Turn and drove away from the zombies. My heart was beating like I had ran a mile.

That was close. Zombies had almost gotten inside the car, and if they succeeded we were done for.

That was too close.

I looked back at Nya who had tears streaming down her face. My hand was shaking, but I still managed to get her to calm down. I gave her my iPad mini to watch a movie on. I played The Princess And The Frog, with Tiana and Prince Navene. I knew it was her favorite, so I decided why not.

Nya's scream woke up the other kids, but the baby. So they all stared at the screen and watched the Disney movie with great interest while I stuffed my hands in my sweater jacket.

Thankfully before we left Laury's house, I was able to grab my iPad mini, My phone, my head phones, my ear phones, my computer, and my wifi. I know it's really stupid that I didn't grab food, but In my defense all I could think about was getting out to the car. Feeling my iPhone 5s in my sweater I took it out with my shaky hands. I stared at the dark screen for a minute, then I turned it on and held my thumb over the thumb scanner. When it allowed me access, I quickly plugged my earphones in, and played some music to keep me distracted.

I paid no attention to anything around me. I listened closely to the song One Step At A Time by Jordan Sparks. I know it's old, but it's still one of my favorites. I let out a sigh of boredom and couldn't help but let my mind wander to what happened with my other sisters Marie, and Yashira.

I wonder if they are okay. I hope they are.

I hope.

I also wonder if Samantha, my best friend is ok. I hope she and her family are surviving.
