"Scarlet!" Alize cried in agony. "My arm hurts" Somehow she managed to say in between sobs.
I gathered Alize in my arms, and cradled her. She had silent tears go down her face as she kept her arm deadly still.
"It's ok, let me see it" I told her.
Hesitantly, Alize lifted her left arm up to me. I gently grabbed her arm, and found her bone sticking out in the lower part. I winced, at least it didn't pierce the skin.
"Look at me" I told Alize.
Alize once again cradled her arm, and looked up at me with teary eyes.
"Can you stand up?" I asked.
Alize cried out in pain.
"I-I don't know" She told me.
I looked at her dead set in her eyes. "Try"
Alize nodded, I nodded back.
I stood up and looked down at her. I stuck my arm out to lift her up by her right arm. Alize slowly placed her hand in mine, and I slowly pulled her up onto her feet.
Alize whined, from the pain, until she was finally back onto her feet. She than once again cradled her left arm, and looked at me for directions.
"C'mon, I'll take you home" I told her.
I guided Alize to Nova, while holding onto Ryder's ropes.
"Hold onto Ryder" I told her.
Alize nodded and took hold of Ryder. Ryder let out a huff, and snuggled his head onto Alize. Alize snuggled back. I smiled and turned around to Nova.
I motioned for Nova, to lay down, so I can hop Alize on. Nova looked at me and started crouching down.
"Alright, Alize come on" I said.
Alize gave me Ryder's ropes and slowly got onto Nova. Once she was on, Nova stood back up. Holding onto Ryder's ropes, I hopped onto Nova and steered back to the barn.
I can only pray Nya and Raiden would be ok.

I dropped Alize off, made her a quick splinter, and hid her in the safe room with the boys. She of course tried to come with me, but I had to constantly tell her no.
And now here I am, racing to the woods, to find my niece and Raiden. If Nya wasn't missing I would be smiling at the world, and closing my eyes to enjoy nature. But Nya is gone, and I can't seem to smile, not until I get her back.
It's taking a miracle for me not to stop and curse at the world. For this god forsaken life. It's like once everything is finally starting to be somewhat normal, something has to come along and ruin it.
Sammie has been missing for over 4 hours, and I'm worried sick. To top it off Nya, ran off into the woods, like an idiot.
I taught Nya better then this. I showed her discipline and love. I did everything I could to make her feel welcomed and loved. I did everything I could for all the kids. Just like my mom would have.
I nudged Nova to run faster, I couldn't loose my niece, I've already lost so much.
I felt a warm liquid run down my face and I immediately wiped the bead of sweat away. Like I've mentioned, the day was very hot, and the sun was shining extremely bright.
Just Another day in California.
The wind whistled as Nova ran, and it wasn't until I caught sight of the woods, that I felt a tinge of guilt start to eat at me.
