It was now time for Conner and Olivia to go back to their time. They had done what they had come back to do and that was to save their mother so that she would be around when the Crisis came along so that she could save their father. The two were very interested to see what the future looked like now that their mother was still alive. They were hoping that everything would be right now and that their father would be alive as well.
"So, you guys really have to go home now?" asked Laurel.
"Yeah, but don't worry you will see us again soon once we are born." Olivia said.
"It won't be the same. We will have to wait years before you are your age now though." Laurel said.
"That's true but you see, now you get to have all your memories of us, like our first steps and stuff like that." Conner said.
"I guess you have a point there. I hope everything is good in the future now." Laurel said.
"I am sure it will be. With you alive that will change a lot of things. From what we were always told, you were the heart of the team. After you died nothing was quite the same again." Olivia said.
"I can believe that. She is definitely the light to my darkness." Oliver said.
"Aww, who knew you could get so sappy." Laurel said as she kissed Oliver on the cheek.
"Well, we will see you in a couple of months. We need to be getting back now." Conner said as he and Olivia hugged Oliver, Laurel, Thea, and Sara and then went through a breach back to their time.
"You know, I am going to miss those kids." Sara said.
"Yeah, me too." Thea said.
"So, how do you think it is going with getting custody of Nora Darhk?" Oliver asked.
"The director said she didn't think it would be a problem for us to be approved so that we could be her foster parents." Thea said.
"That's great. I know the both of you will be great parents to her." Laurel said.
"I hope she gives us a chance to be good parents. She probably will rebel against us a lot at the beginning." Sara said.
"That is just part of being a child. I think we have all rebelled at one point in time or another." Thea said.
"True. So, what do you think we will have to go up against next?" Sara asked.
"I don't know but I say let's make sure we take a break while we can so that we will be ready." Oliver said.
"Ollie, I think that I am going to call an old friend of ours to see if she is willing to come here and help us learn to fight with swords. We might need that skill one day." Thea said.
"I agree. You can never learn too much." Oliver said as Thea went out to call their former teacher.
"Hello Thea, how are you?" Talia said.
"I am doing good Talia, how about you?" Thea said.
"So, what is it that you need of me?" Talia asked.
"Ollie and I need some training with a sword. We want to be ready for any type of threat that can come to our city." Thea said.
"I will be there in a few days. Talia said as Thea hung up.
"So, how did it go?" Sara asked.
"She will be here in a couple of day to work with us." Thea said.
"That's good. I think Talia might know who we are going after next, by the way she sounded on her phone." Thea said.
"I have a feeling since we killed Darhk, it is probably going to be the League of Assassins. Ras Al Ghul probably won't be happy that we took down his enemy. Hopefully I am wrong, but I don't think that I am." Oliver said.
"How do we fight the League of Assassins?" Laurel asked.
"Don't worry about that right now. You just worry about the babies and I will find out all I can about Ras from Talia." Oliver said.
"You think she will betray the League." Thea said.
"Most likely not, but it is worth a try." Oliver said.
"What will you do if Talia doesn't want to talk about that place?" Laurel asked.
"We will just get ready the best we can and that will have to be enough for now." Oliver said.
"Either way we will fight what comes next and make sure that no harm comes to the people of this city." Thea said.
"It wouldn't surprise me if Ras tries to recruit at least one of us to the League. We are the kind of people that he looks for to be in his League." Oliver said.
"We won't do that, though will we?" Laurel asked.
"It all depends on what happens. It might be useful to have someone on the inside that can take them down that way." Oliver said.
"And let me guess. That would have to be you right?" Laurel asked.
"I am the best choice. I hope it doesn't come to that, but if it does, I will do it." Oliver said.
"Then I am going with you." Laurel said.
"We can't do that to the kids Laurel. You have to stay with them." Oliver said.
"This is not up for discussion Ollie. You go, I go." Laurel said.
"Fine, but what about the kids?" Oliver asked.
"Thea, Sara, and Dad can take care of them while we are gone." Laurel said.
"We would be happy to, and we might even have Nora to help as well." Sara said.
"Thanks, so let's just hope that doesn't happen and is the worst-case scenario." Laurel said.
"I agree. Hopefully with some training for Talia we can defeat Ras. I might even have a way to sway her to our side of things." Oliver said.
"What would that be?" Thea asked.
"If I can defeat Ras, I become the new Ras. I will give her that power since it is what she has always wanted anyways." Oliver said.
"That is not a bad idea. I think she would go for it." Thea said.
"Let's hope so, because it would make everything that is coming much easier." Oliver said
