The Return of the Queens

Chapter 58

Later that night the team and Emiko were in the bunker looking at ways to keep a track on the Ninth Circle. "So, where was the last place that you saw any of the members of the Ninth Circle?" Felicity asked.

"We were meeting in the warehouse that is on 9th and Grand." Emiko said.

"Ok, and when was it that you had this meeting?" Felicity asked.

"Last week at seven pm. I was planning on going after Oliver, but they said that they were not going to help me with my vendetta, so I decided to do it myself. Then I met my brother and sister and I realized that they were nothing like my father and now I want to take down the Ninth Circle because I know that they will come for me one day because there is no leaving the Ninth Circle." Emiko said.

"Oh, another one of those groups that you can't leave without dying. What is with these people?" Felicity asked.

"Ok, so I found the video of everyone leaving the building. Tell me who I need to track, and I will keep an eye on them up until now." Barbara said.

"That one right there. He was my second in command. His name is Dante, and he will now be the leader again. If you can keep an eye on him, we will know everything that they plan to do." Emiko said.

"Well Barbara, I am going to leave you here with Felicity for now because we will most likely need the both of you to keep an eye on Dante. You two decide what shift you want. Once we find out when they might attack or if they attack, we will get you back out in the field." Oliver said.

"I agree. This could take a while and I will do whatever you say Oliver. I will take days and Felicity can take nights. Does that sound ok?" Barbara asked Felicity.

"Yeah, that is fine with me. You can go and get some rest. I will see you in the morning." Felicity said.

"Ok. The rest of us will go out on patrol for a while and see if we can find anything that might help us out there." Thea said and the team went to suit up along with Emiko.

"Emiko, you come with me. I want to see what you have in the way of skills before I let you go out by yourself." Oliver said and Emiko nodded as she followed her brother.

"What should we call you?" Oliver asked.

"I don't know. How about Red Arrow? I know it is not original, but it is the best that I have for now." Emiko said.

"Red Arrow it is. So, let's head out." Oliver said and they left the bunker.

While they were out on patrol, it seemed like all the trouble seemed to be where Green and Red Arrow were patrolling. They came up to a bank robbery were Green Arrow stood back to see what his sister had in the way of skills. He was impressed. She took down the thieves in record time without even working up a sweat.

"Impressive. I think you are going to fit in great with the team. You have a different style then most of us do. Maybe you could teach us somethings as well." Green Arrow said.

"I would be happy to, and maybe you could teach me some of the skills that you learned in order to beat Ras Al Ghul. Dante heard about that. That is why they didn't want to come after you and Thea." Red Arrow said.

"Yeah, Ras is a very dangerous man. I don't know of many people who would want to go up against him." Green Arrow said.

"But yet you did." Red Arrow said.

"Didn't really have much of a choice. I would have had to fight him either way. Either I fought him like I did, or I fought him after he trained me to take over for him and we were on the way to destroy Star City. It was going to happen no matter what." Green Arrow said and Red Arrow nodded in agreement.

Later in the night they come up on a group of men that are following a woman. When the men catch up to the woman and got a hold of her, Green and Red Arrow went in to attack the men and help the woman. There were six men which meant they would both have three men to fight. Green Arrow was quick to go to work on his three men. He fired a bola arrow at the first man trapping him to the wall then he went after the second man and gave him a kick to the gut so that he bent over then he kneed him in the head to knock him out. The last man came in to attack and Green Arrow used the man's missed punch against him as the man went passed Green Arrow and then Green Arrow grabbed the man's head and slammed it against the brick wall three times before letting him fall to the ground unconscious. Green Arrow looked around to see Red Arrow dealing with her last man by giving him three quick punches to the head leaving him unconscious.

They then looked to the woman who was going to be attacked by the man and asked, "Are you ok? Call the police and tell them what happened here. We will stay with you until they get here. We will be on the roof." Green Arrow said and the woman nodded as she called the police.

Once the police came and took the six men in, Green and Red Arrow decided to head back to the bunker and see how the night went for the rest of the team. When everyone had returned to the bunker it seemed like everyone had an easy night except for Oliver and Emiko.

"Looks like you got a good look at what we are up against on your first night out. It doesn't usually happen that way." Thea said.

"Yeah, it took me a while before I had a night like that." Roy said.

"Well, I am just happy that I was able to help. So, what do we do now?" Emiko asked.

"Now we go home and get some rest and we get in touch with Felicity in the morning to see if she has an information on the Ninth Circle." Oliver said and everyone went to change so that they could go home and get some rest.
