The Return of the Queens

Chapter 64

It had been three weeks since Team Arrow had gone out and told all the heroes of Earth 1 what was coming and now the time had finally come for them to unite and fight against the Anti-Monitor and the Crisis that he was causing. Everyone knew that the time had come because the sky turned red and everything was affected, including radio, television, and pretty much anything that was electronic.

"Looks like it is time to get everyone together. I wish there was a quick way to do that. It could take some of the other's hours to get here." Oliver said.

"Don't worry Mr. Queen, I can help with that." Said a voice from behind them. They turned to see Novu standing there. He disappeared and a few minutes later he was back with all the heroes from Earth 1.

"That was really helpful. Wish I could do something like that.

"You will be able to Ms. Queen. Once I give you your powers that are dormant inside of you." Novu said.

"Ok Novu, I think you need to explain to the others exactly what is going on here. I know that they believe us, because they wouldn't have been here otherwise, but sometimes things are better coming straight from the one with complete knowledge of what is going on." Oliver said.

"That makes since. So, there is this being out there known as the Anti-Monitor, and he is my opposite. I am the one who works to protect this multiverse, while he works to destroy it." Novu said.

"Ok, so what are we against here?" Batman asked.

"You will have to fight what are known as Shadow Demons. There are an infinite number of them so the only way to stop them is to injury the Anti-Monitor." Novu said.

"Ok, is there anything that will help give us an edge against the Anti-Monitor." Wonder Woman asked.

"There is and those people are known as Paragons. The Paragons are Love, Hope, Destiny, Honor, Humanity, Courage, Truth, and Morality. If these Paragons can work together, they will stand a great chance of winning this war that is coming." Novu said.

"Who are these paragons?" Supergirl asked.

"Love is Barry Allen. Hope is Kara Danvers. Destiny is Thea Queen. Honor is Oliver Queen. Humanity is Caitlin Snow. Courage is Sara Lance. Truth is Laurel Lance. Morality is Bruce Wayne. With this group of remarkable humans, it will help in stopping the Anti-Monitor." Novu said.

"Ok, this is a lot to take in. What are these powers that you say Oliver and Thea will have?" Laurel asked.

"I have only seen this when I saw the future and from what I see, when they have these powers, they will be very powerful." Novu said.

"Again. How so?" Thea asked.

"From what I saw, we might lose the multiverse, but with the two of you together and the rest of the Paragons, the two of you will be able to start a new multiverse." Novu said.

"Ok, I see what you mean. I just don't know how that kind of power kind stay dormant though." Oliver said.

"It stayed dormant because you didn't need them until now, and powers like these can cause you to become lazy and maybe even be able to corrupt you." Novu said.

"I don't think that would ever happen to Oliver and Thea." Sara said.

"You don't know the type of power I am talking about Ms. Lance. True power has the ability to corrupt people especially when it is absolute power." Novu said.

"What does absolute power mean?" Kara asked.

"They could become the most powerful people in the universe with these powers. They can remake worlds from what I saw. If they can do that, there is not much that the two of them wouldn't be able to do." Novu said.

"I didn't think about it that way. I see your point." Sara said.

"Anyways, the only think we can do now is fight once the Shadow Demons and the Anti-Monitor get here." Novu said.

"So, if we don't hold them off, then that is the end of the multiverse?" Barry asked.

"That is correct Mr. Allen. I have confidence that you will come out on top no matter what happens here today." Novu said.

"What about the rest of the multiverse?" Clark asked.

"It is already too far gone now; we just need to worry about this earth now. Once it is all over Oliver and Thea will help with the recreation of the other earths." Novu said.

"Ok, so we are just supposed to let these other earths die?" Kara asked.

"I hate it as much as you do Ms. Danvers, but if I send someone to one of these other earths and it is destroyed while they are there, we could use someone very important to what we have to do here." Novu said.

"I understand that. It is just hard knowing that all of these other people are dying on these other earths and there isn't much we can do about it." Kara said.

"I know it is hard, and I wouldn't do it this way if I didn't have to, but I have seen multiple futures and the only one that works out right for all of us is the one that I am setting into motion right now." Novu said.

"We believe you. I don't think anyone would be so stupid as to let all of those innocent people die unless there was no other choice." Caitlin said.

"So, we just have to wait until it is time for our earth to about be destroyed, then we will be able to fight?" Bruce asked.

"That is correct. I know this is hard, but it will all turn out to be alright if you do as I say." Novu said.

"We will. So, I think we should all go and get some rest while we can. There are beds here for everyone. We put them in when we knew that everyone would be coming here for this fight." Oliver said as he went to find a bed and get some rest before the fight for their world was upon them, and the rest of the heroes did that same not to long afterward.
