Chapter 9

Lenas POV

I got up at 6 the next morning to wake Jo up so she would have plenty of time to get ready for school, I would take her to school and then head to the office, kara decided she would go into work and leave in time to pick Jo up from school,

I got up and used the bathroom before waking up Jo

"Jo" I say knocking on her door before opening it and stepping inside

"Hey, it's time to get up, so you can get ready for school" I say rubbing her back to wake her up

"5 more minutes" she yawns

"Okay, 5 more minutes" I chuckle and walk back out to start some coffee, once the coffee is finished Kara comes out of her room dressed for work and I go back in to wake Jo up

"Alright love bug ," I say walking in and she groans but gets up so I leave her to get dressed.

"What do you want for breakfast?" I ask Kara

"Pancakes?" She says and I nod getting everything out,

"Lee I can make these" she says

"You'll burn them" I chuckle

"I might burn one, not all" she smiles and I nod letting her do her thing while I went and got dressed for the day,

When I came out Kara was plating breakfast and Jo had came out of her room

"You look pretty" I say and she blushes

"Thank you" she replies sitting down at the table

"So Kara and I are going to work but if you need us call us, at any time" I tell her and she nods

"I will take you to school and Kara will pick you up" I explain

"You don't have to do that, I can walk" she says

"Trust me it's no trouble at all" I say and she smiles,

We finish breakfast, said goodbye to Kara and Jo and I were on the way to her school,

"Bye, have a good day" I say

"Bye. Thank you" she says and walks into school and I drive off to L-Corp

"Ms.Luthor I'm sorry, I tried to stop him but he just went on on" Jess says

"Who?"

"You're brother" she says I roll my eyes walking into my office

"Lex, what a pleasure" i scoff

"Lena, my dear sister, how are you?" He ask

"I'm good, what do you want?" I ask him, Lex may not be a crazy mad man like  our mother but he is still bad news,

"I want nothing more than to simply have a conversation" he says and I nod sitting down in my chair

"Okay, Talk" I say

"Have you spoken to mother?" He ask,

"No, I don't speak to her anyways, she is a monster" I say

"Well she might be a monster but she did raise you" he says

"Yea, so?"

"So maybe you should talk to her" he says

"She is trying to take over the world and you want me to talk to her?"

"Are you a  part of this too Lex?" I ask, my mother is trying to make everyone fall in love with her and Lex is usually on my side helping me stop her but he never shows up out of the blue without wanting something
