Chapter 11

Lenas POV

"Jo we got to go or we will be late" I say grabbing my things ready to walk out the door,

"Josephine" I say again and she comes out

"Thank you" I say and we leave,

We pulled up to her school and there were a bunch of girls around and she kind of hid in her seat

"You okay?" I ask

"Yea" she says and I nod, she opened the door and the girls started laughing

"Look there's the orphan" one of them says pointing

"Please don't say anything" Jo says getting out, no way am I going to let someone bully her right in front of me

I parked the car and walked up to the girls

"Whoa, you're Lena Luthor" they say and I roll my eyes

"Yea, now you all will apologize and if I ever hear you say anything to Jo like that again, I will buy the school just to kick you out of it, do I make myself clear?" I say sternly and they just look at me with a loss of words

"I said do I make myself clear" I say more firmly again

"Yes ma'am never again" they say and apologize before running off

"Why did you do that!" Jo yells at me

"You just made everything worse!" She yells again

"Jo. Josephine look at me" I say and she does running her fingers through her hair

"It's not okay for them to be treating you like that," I try to explain

"I don't care! I was dealing with it, just stay out of my life! I wish you wouldn't have adopted me you have no idea how it feels to be adopted" she yells again running into the school

Well that just happened. I thought I was helping, I mean I was. Wasn't I?

I got back into my car and drove to Catco, maybe Kara would know how to help

"Ms.Luthor, how can I help you?" Cat says from her office

"Just here to see Ms.Danvers" I explain and walk down to Karas office

"Lee?" She questions when I walk in

"Is everything okay?" She ask

"When I dropped Jo off a couple of girls were saying things about her being an orphan" I start

"You said something right?" She ask

"Of course I did, but then she yelled at me saying I made things worse, how she wishes I never adopted her and that I had no idea what it was like to be adopted" I say frantically sitting down on the her desk

"Hey, calm down. You probably just embarrassed her, we will talk to her when she gets home" Kara assures me

"Still Kara, I don't know what I did wrong" I sigh and look down at my fingers

"Lena, look at me," she says and I look up at her

"You did nothing wrong, she shouldn't have yelled at you and we will talk when she gets home, okay?" She says and I nod, just then my phone goes off and it's Sam

"It's okay, go" she smiles

"Are you sure? I can. Tell her to wait" I say

"Lena I promise, I will see you at home" she says and I nod  and leave going to talk to Sam
