Chapter 39

Lenas POV

Today the kids will be staying with Alex again, I plan on proposing to Kara tonight, so far Alex and sam are  the only ones that know.

Kara thinks we're just going to dinner,

I can not wait to make her my wife and for us all to have the same last name, she makes me happy. I don't know where I would be today if we never met Jo, and I didn't ask kara to move in with me. I have a family now and I never envisioned myself getting married or having kids. I am truly thankful for the events that had accrued in the past 7 months,

On the other hand is it too early to propose? I mean we do already have two kids and live together. This isn't a normal situation. And if she says no that's okay, we can wait. Although I hope she doesn't.

The plan is for us to drop the girls off with Alex, come back here to get ready for dinner, then Sam is going to set up the park next to the house, we go there a lot just the two of us to look at the stars, it's a very quiet place and isn't very known to a lot of people

Jo and Ruby talked about the party and they are friends again, although I'm not sure if they were never not friends. Teenagers confuse me.

Since sam is helping me set up everything for the proposal Alex will have all 3 girls with her. Goodluck

Today is now Friday and I just got home from the office which means the girls are already here since Kara picks them up after she leaves Catco

"Hello darling" I smile walking in and dropping my keys on the counter before giving Kara a kiss

"Hi love!" She says enthusiastically,

"are the girls ready?" I ask

"Yes! At least I think so" she chuckles and I smile going to check on Emery,

"Hi mommy" she smiles from playing on the floor of her room

"Hey baby, all of your things ready to go to aunt Alex's?" I ask

"Yea, when are we going?" She ask standing up and showing me that she had packed her bag.

"In just a little, you can keep playing" I say and she smiles and sits back down on the floor to resume playing with the Barbies she had dragged out

Jo was also already done and was on her phone in her bed

"Are we leaving now?" She ask when she seen me at the door

"Here soon" I say and she nods and I go back out to find Kara

"I love you" she says and I grab her waist and pull her into me

"I love you" I say and kiss her nose and she giggles

We just got to Alex's and Sam and Ruby were already here, they seem to be getting a lot closer especially Alex and Ruby. Sam is always telling me how Alex and Ruby are always doing something together

We walked into Alex's and Both kids stayed my our sides,

"Go say Hi" I tell Emery and she shakes her head

"Hi!" Ruby exclaims coming out from back the hall

"Bye, I love you" Jo says giving kara and I a hug and walking back with Ruby

"Hey Emery, I got some cookies" Alex says and she perks her head up causing Kara and I to laugh

"You want one?" Alex ask and she nods happily and walks over to Alex
