Chapter 17

Karas POV

I had told Ms.Grant that I needed today off so we could go shopping for Emery, while we were out Lena was having some people come in and get rid of her office, she was moving everything to L-Corp, I really feel bad for her having to give up her office, I have been looking for places that would accommodate us all and I could afford, I want Lena and I to get a home together with the kids but I know she is going to insist on paying and I don't want that,

"Girls it's time to get up" I say walking into Jos room and they both turn over and sit up, I walked out to Lena and she has made coffee and now making breakfast, I got out some orange juice for the girls and some plates down,

"Good-morning beautiful" I tell Emery as she comes out in her Pjs,

"Morning" she yawns and sits down at the table.

"Where's Jo?" I ask

"She told me to get out so she can get ready" she says and I nod pouring some juice in her cup,

Once breakfast was down Jo had came out dressed for school and placed her bag by the door,

The four of us sat down and at breakfast and by time we finished Lena had to take Jo to school

"Okay, let's get your clothes" I say and she nods following me to get an outfit we had bought, just a little sundress

"Do I have to wear these?" She ask holding a pair of shorts

"The dress is long, I don't need them" she protest

"Yes you need the shorts, it's incase your dress flies up or something" I say and she huffs but puts them on, a teenager in a 7 year olds body.

Once Lena got back we got loaded in the car

"We need to get a booster seat for her too" Lena says and I nod, I think 8 is the youngest without one but she is very tiny still anyway,

First place we came too was to get her a bed and get it delivered while we went clothes shopping,

She picked out a white frame and we got a Mattress and she picked out a pink and purple comforter with little gold unicorns and a small throw blanket to match,
Next place was the mall...

Lena and I mostly picked out her clothes, she wasn't too into shopping after we told her she could get some toys when we were done.

After we got her enough clothes we went to get her some toys as promised

"I've never had my own toys" she says looking around at them all,

"Can I have this?" She ask holding a rainbow unicorn

"Of course" I smile

"Okay thank you" she says and stands by us

"You can pick some more""Lena tells her

"But I already picked one" she says

"It's okay, you need some to play with" Lena says and takes her hand walking around with her, Lena really is a wonderful mother

She ended up picking some Barbie's and Lena went all out getting a Barbie dream house and all. Once everyone was happy we stopped by the shoe store to get Jo a new pair as well and we went out for lunch

"Thank you both so much!" Emery tells us still holding her stuffed Unicorn, she hadn't put it down since she picked it up

"You're welcome babes" we tell her and she eats her French fries

By time we were finished in town it was time to get Jo, we had gotten Emery a booster seat as well, well she picked it out and of course it had to be unicorn themed

"How was school?" I ask jo when she gets in the car

"Good" she says and looks out the window

"Just good?" Lena says and she doesn't respond

Josephines POV

They are going to kill me, actually kill me. I got ISS

In school suspension today, some girls were making fun of me again so I told them off and might have lightly hit one of them and of course the teacher only seen what I had done,

The school sent home a paper I needed to get signed saying I told them.

We got back to the house and I went to my room and did the only thing I could think of, I called Alex. While I waited for her come I went out to check out Em's room

"It looks really good" I say and she smiles

"Want to play?" She ask

"Sure" I chuckle and sit down with her,

We played for like 15 minutes before the door opened and I knew it was Alex,

"I'll be right back" I tell Emery and walk out

"What are you doing here?" Kara ask and I put my hand up so Alex wouldn't tell them I asked her to come

"I just wanted to see Emerys room" she lies and comes over to me, the both of us go in my room and I pulled the papers out

"I need you to sign this and not tell Kara or Lena" I say and she reads over the paper

"Jo... I will sign it just this once but if it happens again. You will need to tell them" she says and I nod

"Thank you" I sigh and hand her a pen as she sighs the papers and I put them back into my book bag

"Thank you" I say giving her a hug

"What are cool aunts for?" She smiles and we both walk out, now all I had to do was turn the paper in on Monday,

The adults talked while I did my homework and I went ahead and took a shower, my stomach had been hurting a little these past couple days and a shower makes it feel better, it's weird though, not a nauseous hurting but like a stabbing feeling,

I took the shower and my stomach felt better and I went out with everyone and Alex ended up staying for diner before she had to get back to her house,

"Okay Em, it's time for bed" Kara tells her at 9:30

"Not yet" she says

"Yea it is love, it's already passed what it would be for School " Kara says and Emery groans and gets up going with Kara too her room,

After she was in bed Kara, Lena and I watched a movie and I went to bed, I was exhausted after today, Lena and Kara both said goodnight and left my room, I sat up and cut the light off and went straight to bed
