As I woke up the next morning I was still shocked about what happened last night at the ball. It was very unexpected. I wonder what they were after? What was the reason behind the attack? I had so many questions that still remained unanswered. I wonder how Elijah was doing on this whole attack from last night. *Elijah POV* It was the next day and I didn't go back home since I was dealing with the reasoning behind this attack from last night.

"Michael, any updates from last night's attack?" "Boss from what it seems it was the Red Skulls targeting us but it wouldn't make sense why they would let us know it was them. Wouldn't it be better and smarter to keep themselves hidden Boss?" I tap my fingers and walk back and forth. "They must be after Y/n that must be the reason, it seems like they know I have been protecting Y/n and I have been keeping her under my protection." I sit down on my desk as I play with a pen in my hand. "We must have a rat, how would they know we were located in the ballroom at that time exactly?" Everyone nods their head and agrees.

"We must find that rat to tell us information" "Yes Boss, I will look more into it. The people that sabotage the ballroom didn't seem to target anyone else only us, it seems they may be after Y/n and highly chance you as well Boss. I looked over the cameras on the attack from last night. They didn't seem very educated or experienced, they seemed sloppy." "I agree, it must be people working under the Red Skulls command and the main people must be planning something."

"At this moment we will keep our people protected and Y/n as well she will not be leaving the house is that understood?" "Yes Boss" "I will be back tomorrow for any updates" "Yes boss" As I left I was heading to the main house to check up on Y/n I haven't seen her since last night. I wanted to be there for her while we are dealing with this problem, I wanted to protect her from this harm and this dangerous world we are in.

I cared about her in ways I can't explain usually any woman I would sleep with, I would send them away but Y/n.. I want her by my side. I want to expect her home everyday to have something to come home to everyday. As I got home I head to Y/n's bedroom and knocked no answer. "Is she sleeping?" "Y/n I am coming in." I come in and hear the shower running. I smile and begin to unbuckle my pants and head to the shower I wanted her.. I desired her.. *End of Elijah POV*

As I was showering with my eyes closed I begin to feel kisses on my back. "Who is it?" As I couldn't see since I had soap on my face. "Who are you expecting in here that isn't me huh?" I open my eyes and I realized it was Elijah. "What are you doing in here?" "I wanted to spend some time with you in here and I missed you" He kissed my back and my neck slowly as the water kept hitting us. I couldn't lie, I missed him. I missed being in his arms, I missed touching him I missed him in general. I turned around and placed my lips on his lips slowly enjoying the kiss.

He grabs my face and kisses me slowly. I put my hands around his neck as we enjoy each other's company. He grabs me and places on the wall and grabs my hands and puts them above my head and kisses my neck. As we continue we let each other's desires enjoy this moment. We head to the bed and we fall asleep. It was soon the next morning and Elijah stayed by side. He looked so peaceful while sleeping like an angel.

I begin to touch his face and I see Elijah smirk and get on top of me and looks at me with a smile on his face and kisses my forehead. He lays down and I place my head on his chest as he plays with my back and I wanted to tell him I love him but I didn't know how he would react. Then he smiles and kisses my forehead again.

"I have to go to the warehouse again I will see you later okay don't miss me too much" "Okay, you're so full of yourself Elijah but I will miss you a little bit" "That's my girl" He places a kiss on my nose and gets out of the bed and gets his clothes and he heads out and there I was laying on my bed enjoying these beautiful moments with Elijah.

What will happen next? Will they find out who's the rat?
