Chapter 51 🖤

       As months passed by I was close to my due date. Throughout these months Elijah took care of me and dealt with me with my mood swings and morning sickness throughout my whole pregnancy. Today I woke up with a feeling inside of my stomach as if something was going to happen today. I looked to my right side of the bed and Elijah wasn't there. I headed downstairs and looked in the kitchen and he wasn't there making his usual morning coffee. I headed to his office and before I opened the door I heard "Elijah you need to head to an important meeting in Tokyo." Suddenly I opened the door and looked at Elijah. "Y/n uh shit let's talk I can explain." "Men if you can give me a minute." As each one of his men left the room. The room got quiet very quickly. "So Elijah go ahead and explain" "I have an important meeting at Tokyo, my father wants me to attend." "Elijah I know but I am close to my due date and I already have a bad feeling about today.. please Elijah please don't leave me." "Love, I know but don't worry I will be back before you know it nothing will happen you will be okay and our baby will be okay." He grabs my head and kisses my forehead and then makes me look up at him and kisses my lips softly. "You will be okay my love, I will come back to you soon you won't even notice I am gone" I looked up at him again and just smiled. "Okay" 

     As we spent the rest of the morning together his flight was due to leave this afternoon. Before he left the door he looked at me and kissed me. "I will get back my love, I promise." I watched him let go of my hand and get inside of his car as he left for his flight. "Shit" "Boss did you forget something?" "No, I am just worried to leave her alone while I am gone" A few minutes had passed by since Elijah had left. I was laying in bed when suddenly I had to go to the restroom. As I got up I began to get a horrible pain. "No, please no not now, not when your father left sweetheart" Suddenly the pain was too strong it dropped me on the floor." "Charlotte! Charlotte help!" I hear running steps coming inside the room. "Ms. Evans, oh my god let me call the men to start the car to take you to the hospital. I will tell the men to notify Elijah right away." As I was departing I was hesitating to get on the plane and I stopped there. "Is there something the matter boss?" "No" As the plane takes off we suddenly get a call from the penthouse. "Boss" I was looking out the window as I was drinking my whiskey. "What happened?" "It's from the penthouse.. It is about Y/n" I dropped my glass cup as it shattered as soon as I heard Y/n being mentioned" "What happened? Is she okay?" "Boss she went into labor, the men are taking her to the hospital in the penthouse at this moment" "Tell them to stop the plane" "Boss we are in the air" "This is my wife we are talking about, I don't care how it gets done but I want them to stop the plane that way I can be on my way to see my wife is that understood?" "Yes boss" 

   As soon as the plane turned back and landed we all ran out of the plane and headed inside the car and headed to the hospital at the penthouse. I knew I shouldn't have left her. It was a mistake I knew I should have been with my wife in these important moments in our lives. I missed her first pregnancy. I will not miss this one too. As I arrived at the hospital I ran inside and my first priority was my wife and her health. "Where is she?!" "Sir, she is currently in surgery" "Is there any complications with the pregnancy that's why she's in surgery?" "From her first pregnancy she had a lot of complications during labor that is causing her to have a hard time right now sir" "Well I need to see her let me be with her right now" "Yes boss, come this way I will show you to her room, be aware your wife is in a lot of pain but she will be alright just make sure not to alarm her boss." "I understand." 

As I enter the room there she is in pain with her eyes full of tears and in distress. "Hi baby, I am here now I shouldn't have left your side it won't happen again." "Elijah it's fine just as long as you here with me is all that matters" As the labor continued at least 3 hrs passed by and finally our baby girl was born. "Oh Elijah she's beautiful" 'I know my love, looks exactly like her beautiful mother." "Elijah she has your eyes." As we were appreciating her and enjoying the moment the doctor comes in. "Congratulations have you decided what you will name her?" I look up at Elijah and smile and he smiles as well as if he knew." "Yes doctor, it will be Kiara. Kiara Evans." "Very well, congratulations again. I will let you rest and enjoy this moment just a few more hours and we will discharge you and send you home is that fine with you Mr. Evans?" "Yes, that's fine." The hours passed by and finally I was able to go back home with our baby girl. I was excited and I couldn't wait to see her grow up to be a beautiful young women later on in the years. I was happy, truly happy.
