It was the next morning and I was happy about last night. It was beautiful what Elijah prepared last night. I was very grateful for him and everything he has done for me. They treat me like family. As I got up from thinking I got up to get ready and have a nice relaxing shower. Today I was in a good mood so I decided to go downstairs and make food with Charlotte.

"Hello" "Hello sweetheart, do you need anything? Are you hungry? Let me make you some food" "Oh I am starving, but I would like to help you make food" "Oh sweetie no I couldn't do that" "Oh please Charlotte let me help you, I am really bored." "Mhmm okay okay alright then" I smiled so hard. "Thank you!" We begin cooking and talking I was happy since we were making cupcakes.

A few hours passed by and I decided to head to the bedroom. I read a few books and watched a bit of TV. "Enough of TV, let me take a shower. As I let the water hit my body and let my body relaxed in the shower it was so peaceful. A few minutes passed and as I was drying my hair and I soon get a unknown phone call.

I hesitated to answer back since it was unknown but I picked it up anyways. "Mhm who is this?" "Hello? Who is this?" A few seconds passed by of silence. I was starting to think it was a prank call as I was about to hang up. A very familiar voice came on the phone.. my heart dropped and a shiver went down my back. I begin to sweat. I knew exactly who this was.. It was my step-brother..

"Hello Y/n, did you miss me?" "What do you want, why are you calling me?" "Oh don't be like that, I missed you. You decided to leave me alone in this house and now I have no one to play with. What made you think you can escape me? You are mine. You are my property I OWN you." "No you don't, leave me alone. You don't own me."

He laughed as I said that I felt anger revolve me. I was disgusted to hear his voice. I hated him.. "Well, since you decided to leave my side I decided to leave you a little present. Elijah.. He looks like he's been protecting you very well.." "Don't even think in getting near him, or anyone. You will regret it." "Oh sweetheart, he's going to regret it the moment I kill him and take you away from him.. but don't worry I will be seeing you very soon.."

He laughs as soon as he said that as I hang up quick and throw my phone on the bed. I hated him he ruined my life and now he's trying to hurt the people I care about the most. I don't think I can tell Elijah about this.. I have to keep it to myself. I don't want to be a burden. I have to protect Elijah and everyone. It's the least I can do since they have always been protecting me since I first arrived here. I have to protect them..
