Chapter 48 🖤

The gender of the baby is.. As the doctor was about to reveal the gender I was so nervous I felt as my heart was about to get out of my chest and I felt butterflies in my stomach due to how nervous I was with the news about my unborn child that I am carrying inside of me. IT IS A GIRL! I covered my mouth out of how shocked I was with the news because for the past few days ever since my pregnancy I have been dreaming about having a baby girl.. My little girl in my arms. Elijah just looked at me with so much care and love and happiness in the world he grabbed me and carried me and spinned me around. 

"Thank you, Thank you for giving me this beautiful blessing, a beautiful baby girl" He grabbed me and kissed me and kissed my forehead very softly. "So boss and Y/n what would you like to name your child?" We both looked at each other and we smiled. We have talked about girl names for the longest and we have always agreed to one name almost all the time. "Doctor, we would like to name the child Kiara. Kiara Evans ''''Boss I will give you guys a moment alone" After the doctor left the room a rush of emotions started to rush through my body. I began to cry. "Baby what's wrong? Why are you crying Y/n?" I began to cry louder and rub my eyes. He was in complete shock "Y/n sweetheart what's wrong?" "I don't know, I think it's the pregnancy hormones that are hitting me right now. I can't believe I have a child inside of me and it's our baby girl. It's a girl. Elijah, can you believe it?!" 

"I am still in shock but I am glad and happy I can spend this moment with you and only you my love" I began to examine his face and smiled at him while he smiled at me back. It is still crazy to see how much everything has changed. "Baby let's head home" "Yes" He grabs my hand and slowly puts me down on the floor and grabs my hand. As I was about to open the door he quickly speeds up and says "Allow me" and he holds the door for me. "Thank you" As we arrived home everyone greeted us with a big smile. Charlotte comes rushing in. "Ma'am and sir, how is the baby?" "She is doing perfectly fine and we found out the gender!" "Oh sweetie what is the gender, tell me!" "It's a girl!" "Oh my god- a girl? I am sure she will be a beautiful girl just like her mother ''''Thank you Charlotte." "Would you like anything?" "A coffee for Elijah and 1 lemonade for me will be fine" "Right away!" As me and Elijah head to the office he goes to the other room inside of the office and I fix the documents he had on his desk. Suddenly I felt hands wrapped around my waist. I suddenly jumped and gasped. "Oh Elijah you scared me" "Don't be scared, it's just me I missed you."

 He begins to kiss my collarbone and my neck gently as if he didn't want to break me. He turned me around to face him and he kissed me slowly and passionately. We stayed like that for a couple minutes which seemed like years. Suddenly he stopped and looked at me and fixed my hair. "Get ready my love" "For what? Do you have an important meeting or something you would want me to attend with you?" "No, it has nothing to do with business, it will just be us so please go get ready don't keep me waiting beautiful" As he kisses my forehead and hand softly and slowly. I smiled and skipped to the door. "Yes sir right away." 

As I was finishing doing my final touches on my hair and makeup I began to think what must Elijah be planning? What is the occasion? What's going on? I rushed downstairs as I saw him waiting for me downstairs and put his hand out to grab my hand. "You look beautiful Y/n" "Thank you, you look very handsome as well" "Shall we be heading now?" "Yes Elijah." He opens the door for me and tells me to buckle up. As he heads inside the car he grabs a blindfold and tells me to cover my eyes. "Y/n cover your eyes, it's a surprise and don't take it off or you will be punished if you do. Don't try me" I began to giggle. "Yes sir"

 It was a 20 minute drive which felt like forever and my nervousness was killing me because I didn't know what was going on. "Are we almost there?" "Yes we are almost there." We then arrived at our destination. "Stay here" He opens the door and grabs my hand. "Watch your step" He grabs my hand and leads me the way. "Take off your shoes" "Take off my shoes?" "Yes' ' I take off my shoes and I feel sand on my feet. It was very soft. Where were we? He gets behind me and takes off the blindfold. "Oh my god Elijah this is beautiful '' It was beautiful scenery to the eyes. There were rose petals on the floor and candles that made a pathway to the tables with candles and food and a boutique of red roses, my favorite. The sound of the ocean and a beautiful sunset that made everything more special and beautiful.

 He grabs my hand and leads me to the table and then he grabs the chair and pushes it out for me to sit. "Thank you" He looks at me and smiles. "Do you like it?" "I don't like it, I LOVE IT!" His sad face soon turned into a big smile on his face. "I am glad you liked it. I have never done this before if I am being so honest." "Really? You seem like a natural!" "Oh no, this is my first time but I am glad my first time was with you, experiencing all of these beautiful moments with you." We ate, talked, laughed and smiled. Then he gets up and walks up to me and grabs my hand. "Let's go walk on the beach." I grab his hand and we walk the beach for a while and look at the scenery.

It was beautiful. We stopped walking and as I was looking at the beach and the sky. He was very silent as I turned to look at him. I see him there on one knee looking at me. I cover my mouth out of shock. "Y/n ever since you have entered my life and the moment you crossed my path you made me into a better man, you took me out of the dark space I was in. You were my light at the end of the tunnel. I waited a very long time for someone like you and I finally found you and I don't plan on letting you go anytime soon. I love you Y/n with all of my heart and soul. I want you to be mine forever and I want to be yours forever and that is why I will ask you this question. Y/n will you do me the honor to be able to spend the rest of my life with you?"

I began to cry and I jumped so high "Yes yes Elijah '' He grabbed my hand and put the ring on my finger and I looked at it and smiled so hard and I ran up to his arms and we fell on the sand. We laughed and laughed. This was the best thing and the best day of my life and I was so glad to be able to spend this beautiful moment with him. 

I am sorry for the late update, school has been kicking my butt big time but I am glad to say I will finally have time to update it and finish it!
