She didn't know what happened. Having seen nothing more than her son's body over another man's, as he continued to strike his fist across the person's face. All while he tried to get the boy to stop. It being the same man who was her husband. And the same man who was the father of her child as she had watched her son himself completely crumble right there in front of Yoongi.

However, all Ming could think about was the fact that her son had killed someone. Killed someone and without even a second thought. Making her heart completely sink at that constant image playing in her head. Because she couldn't handle it. Couldn't handle that the boy who used to run into her arms giggling out excited mommy's, was the same boy who had killed someone so easily.

And with tears in her eyes, the girl wiped them away. Having been unable to get her own husband to talk to her after everything happened. After YeJun finished off the one person who Yoongi had already been seconds away from killing himself. And after Jungkook and Jin cleaned up everything. Knowing exactly what to do. Because they always did.

"YeJun." Knuckles soft, the woman knocked on the boy's door. Earning nothing more than that stilled silence as she let herself open the thing in a slow manner. Catching sight of her son sitting there on the edge of his bed with his face buried in his hands. His hands that the boy had washed away the blood lingering on them in the most fervent manner. Having felt as though he was a monster. . . in a world so cruel.

And he felt the way she sat beside him. Trying her hardest to swallow down every tear in her eyes as she allowed for her hand to come against his back. Running the base of it up and down the thing itself as that gentleness of her voice paired to match. Her voice that the boy would so desperately crave to hear when he couldn't handle everything anymore. Because the girl was gentle. So, so gentle with him.

"YeJun baby, look at me." She could've sworn her heart was breaking. Keeping that base of her hand against his back as his eyes just barely peered up at the woman herself. His eyes that were completely bloodshot. And his eyes that couldn't help but fill with further tears upon seeing her expression.

"I-I'm sorry, mom—"

"YeJun—"

"I-I just wasn't thinking, a-and when I saw dad's hands covered in blood, I—"

"YeJun." Ming already had her hands placed upon the boy's face. Calming him down just like she would him as those softness of her fingertips brushed away his tears. All while she watched her son's head drop itself into her chest. Having never in his life felt more uncontrolled before. Because that adrenaline had kicked in. Adrenaline that'd have his father killing people left and right when the man was so young.

"I-I'm so sorry, mom—"

"YeJun." She could barely even say his name. Only able to think about the fact that she's completely failed the boy as his mother. Putting him in a position where the action of killing another human being was something those around him would do left and right. Yet it wasn't okay. Wasn't normal. And YeJun was feeling. Feeling just how his own father did. . . when the man killed someone for the first time as well.

"W-What about if someone finds out—"

"YeJun baby—"

"E-Everyone's going to think I'm some fucking monster—"

"YeJun." And he knew. Knew he was breaking his mother's heart upon the use of his words. Able to see every tear lined within her eyes as her lips just barely trembled. Because it was hard. Hard to watch the one person you never thought you'd get to have in life, feel as though they were something inhumane. Able to remember that day she found out she really was pregnant. And just how happy she had been.
