"I-I'm sorry—"
"No, please. . . go ahead." The man's voice was so deep. So deep and so sultry as it caressed her ears. Having accidentally ran into the man the second she went to go inside of the cafe she was at. Too distracted by the other man who was on the phone with her. It being the same man who could just barely hear the strangers voice through the line.
And with a gentle thank you, Ming let herself bow at the man. All while she moved to go inside. Go inside of the one place that held her son's favorite desserts. Having wanted to get the boy some for later.
"Just be careful for me, baby. . . okay?" Tone soft, the girl took place in line. Continuing to hold that base of her phone up to her ear as she spoke with her love. Her same love who was in the car. About to go handle something completely inhumane.
"Already trying to get me off the phone, kitten? Huh? I've barely even seen you today. . ." She could hear just how smug he sounded. Acting just how he always would with the one woman who only giggled underneath his words. Unable to deny that she missed spending time with him. Because the man was always busy. So, so busy.
"You see me everyday, baby—"
"And? I can't want you now?" She always loved how playful he'd act with her. Showing a side of himself that he'd only allow to come out around the one woman herself. Seeing as though he loved the girl. The same girl who always accepted all of him.
"I can't even remember the last time we had car sex, baby—"
"Yoongi!" In a whisper yell, the woman was quick to cut him off. Praying to god that no one could hear the man through her phone as that smug what fell off his lips. Sounding exactly how he did. . . when they first met.
And Ming noticed that the line was getting shorter. Short enough to make her begin to end her conversation on the phone with him. It being the one man who could listen to those giggles of his name day in and day out. Even if they'd soon stop. Stop all because of him.
"I know you miss it, kitten—"
"Yoongi baby, I have to go." She did. She needed to finish up what she had started as she listened to the man groan in the most childish manner. Realizing just how much he himself missed the woman. Missed her presence. Missed that attention she'd give him. Treating the man as though he was the only person in the world at times. Having never met someone that held so much love for his being. Willing to do anything and everything. . . just to make sure he's okay.
"I love you." He was never one to say the three words very often. The same three words that would have Ming's heart racing in complete adoration for the man as she let out that same I love you too. Earning nothing more than a deep make sure you call me if anything happens, in which Ming nodded. Voicing out that delicate I know, baby, only to allow herself to hang up the phone. Able to somehow feel ones eyes lying upon her frame.
"Next in line please." It was already her turn to order. Making the girl instantly smile over at the woman behind the counter as she relayed to her what she wanted. Having gotten she herself something quick to enjoy alongside YeJun's favorite treats. YeJun being the same boy she always worried about. And the same boy she didn't know if she could live without if she were to lose him. Because he was her child. Her only child.
And just like that, the woman paid. Taking hold of her items, before moving to take a seat at one of the empty tables, even if the place was busy. A little too busy.
