"What are you doing out here, kitten? Huh?" Ming could hear that sudden voice. That sudden voice that belonged to the one man who's body came up from behind her own. Encasing the curves of her hips with the heaviness of his hands that the girl had endured upon the feeling of oh so many times. Even if she loved it. Loved how good his touch always felt.
"It's beautiful tonight." Her words were so hushed. Pairing with the moonlit sky that had her eyes completely captivated by the view before her. The same view from off their bedroom balcony. Overlooking those streets of Seoul that were always so lit up.
And just like that, the man stayed silent. Listening to the traffic and chaos beneath them. All while his hands kept the woman pressed against him. Knowing just how much she loved to relish upon the view at night as his lips pressed themselves against the side of her neck. Whispering out that quiet I love you as he did so. Because he did. He loved the girl more than anything.
However, Ming didn't respond. Didn't do anything more than allow for her head to rest against his chest as the man held her. Feeling all too protected and safe with the only person who knew her better than Ming knew herself.
And it stayed like that. All silent and peaceful. Making the two want nothing more than to stay in that moment with each other. Even if it was then that his voice just barely filled the air. Sounding all too delicate. So, so delicate.
"My mom would've loved you, baby. . . you know that?" Yoongi whispered out. Having said something that had Ming's eyes instantly going round as Yoongi felt the way she turned around within his grasp. Able to feel the balcony rail come against her back as she did so. All while her expression turned completely innocent.
"Yoongi." Her voice was always so soft. So soft and so delicate as she brought those palms of her hands up to his face. Able to see that underlying hurt within his gaze. His gaze that would have her heart breaking each time she'd watch it falter.
"She'd always ask me when I was going to introduce her to my girlfriend. But I'd always lie and tell her I didn't have one." He could feel that aching of his heart. Causing that subtle laughter of his to come out ever so painfully as Ming listened to each word he said. Because the man wasn't one to ever talk about his past. His past that completely molded the man into the one he's become overtime.
"Today's her birthday you know—"
"Yoongi—"
"A-and I just wish I could've let her meet you, Ming. I just wish she was here to meet you." She never watched someone's eyes fill with tears so quickly. Trailing down in such a way that had her hands instantly grabbing the man's body, only to feel the way he buried his face into her neck. Holding onto the woman as if she were the only thing to exist as her own tears began to surface just like they always would. Seeing as though all she could relish upon was that immediate breaking of her heart. Because she loved the man. Loved him more than she could ever describe.
"Sh-she should be here right now, Ming—"
"Yoongi—"
"Sh-she should be here to meet our kids one day. To watch us get married. To fucking meet the only person I love, Ming—"
"Yoongi."She couldn't help but cut him off. Running those softness of her hands up and down his back as she did so. Wanting nothing more than to comfort the man. The same man who never spoke to anyone about his problems. . . except her.
"I know I could've stopped him, Ming—"
"Baby, look at me—"
"All that man ever did was fucking lie. A-and now she's gone, Ming. She's fucking gone." She was. Having remembered that day he walked into his home with Jin on his side. About to go handle a few things for his father who he had never watched plea for him to leave so desperately before. All while his mother sat there in their home in complete silence. Unable to even look her own son in the eyes. Because she couldn't face the fact that she was no longer going to be there for him. For him to vent to. For him to be told that he was loved and that she was proud of him.
