Eyes completely glossed over with tears, the girl looked at herself in that bathroom mirror. Having needed to take a moment to herself as she rinsed her face with that water so cold. Even if nothing helped. Helped her calm down. Helped her stomach not feel like it was endlessly churning in pure worry. Swearing that a process had never taken so long. So long to get answers. So long to see her child.
And with a sniffle, the woman tried her hardest to fix her appearance. All while she stepped out of that single bathroom, only to bump into the one man who steadied her steps almost instantly. Carrying that strength she hadn't felt in so long. Too long.
"I-I'm sorry." She kept her head held down. Having went to move past the man who didn't care to immediately stop her. All while he spoke her name in that manner so deep. As deep as he would always say it.
"Look at me, Ming." She couldn't. Couldn't look at him. Couldn't keep it together no matter how hard she was trying to.
"D-Do you mind calling Jimin for me? I-I really don't want JunSeo to have to go through a-anymore than he already has." All she could see in her head was that blood lying on the boys clothes. Blood that had been so fresh. Blood that was from her child.
"Ming—"
"P-Please." She brushed away her tears. Having finally looked at the man who went completely numb underneath her gaze. Her gaze that was looking at him so hopelessly. Carrying that expression she would when he'd be the one in the hospital. When he'd get hurt. When he'd be on the brink of barely surviving.
And with that nod, Ming let out that thank you so quiet. All while she went to move away from the man who could barely stomach seeing her this way. To see her so vulnerable. To see her so empty.
Yet he didn't stop her from leaving. Didn't do anything more than watch her walk back into that same waiting room as he let out that breath so deep. Realizing that he needed to be there for her. That he needed to be the girls support. That he needed to be what she had always been for him.
And it was that same girl who took that seat beside JunSeo again. Wishing that the boy hadn't seen what he had. Because neither him nor YeJun deserved it. Deserved to live the type of lives they were living.
"You have no clue how proud I am of you for helping him, baby." She looked down at the boy. Having squeezed his hand ever so softly, only to earn that look so blank from JunSeo himself. Still in that state of shock. Shock that had him endlessly replaying the boy falling to his knees, only to lye there in his arms.
And it was Ming who'd try. Try to make the boy feel better. Try to let him know that they were there. She loved him.
However, it was then that Yoongi came back from those bathrooms. Holding nothing more than that phone to his ear as he looked over at the two. Even if it was SeJun who was sat on the other side of his wife. Holding that demeanor to himself that Yoongi would carry. Because SeJun could still feel. Feel that urge to kill the man standing before him.
"Min YeJun?" It was that single voice that had them looking over at that single doctor almost instantly. All while Ming herself rushed over to the man. Carrying that worry so prominent upon her face, only to feel that presence of her husband behind her. Her husband who would soon no longer be her husband at all.
"Are you YeJun's parents?" The doctor watched as the two let out that immediate yes. Followed by that look from them that had him realizing why at times he hated. Hated the career he chose.
