"Mom." YeJun was already up and on his feet. Gesturing for JunSeo to follow suit as YeJun watched the woman walk through the front doors of their home. Holding groceries that the two took hold of almost instantly, only to finish bringing the rest inside for her.
"Thank you, baby." She was quick to move over to where he stood in the kitchen. Giving the boy a quick kiss to the cheek before sorting through the items. Having voiced out a soft how was school towards the two boys. The same two boys that she knew so well.
"It was fine." YeJun was the one to answer. Sounding more exhausted than his mother would've liked as her eyes rounded in the most gentle manner. Knowing that the both of them were tired. Tired of school. Tired of not being able to do what their fathers were.
And with a sigh, the girl met both of their eyes. Letting out a soft just a little longer, before brushing away the hair from their eyes. Seeing as though the two barely had a few months left before graduation. Yet Ming couldn't deny that she was worried. Worried how quickly things would change the second the two of them get to do what they want.
However, the girl wouldn't say anything. Wouldn't let herself worry about something that was still to come as she let out a soft I bought some snacks for you two, before letting herself move over to her bedroom. Having caught sight of Yoongi's frame sitting on the edge of their bed the second she opened the door. All while the man kept his phone held up to his ear. Speaking to the one person who was about to make him thousands as his eyes met her own ever so gently. Earning Ming's lips against his own the minute she stalked up to him. Realizing just how much she loved the man after feeling that relief surface itself through her veins. Because he made her feel better. Made her feel like everything was going to be okay.
And with a soft just give me a second, baby Yoongi watched as she nodded down at him. Knowing that the man needed to finish speaking on the phone as she moved over towards their closet. Wanting to change into something more comfortable as she listened to the man speak to someone she didn't know. Yet someone who Yoongi had dealt with oh so many times. Having known the man due to his father. His same father who had gotten himself killed due to being so careless as Yoongi let the man know that everything was good. Allowing for him to hang up the phone, in which he walked himself over to where she was.
"How was Junsu, baby?" His hands were already against her waist. Her same waist that was bare as the man buried his face into her neck from behind. Earning that subtle laughter from the woman who couldn't help but turn around almost instantly. All while letting out a quiet good. Even if Yoongi could see. Could see that same subtle distance within the girls expression. Because all she could think about was her mother. Her mother who had came back into her life out of nowhere. And her mother who the woman thought she'd never see again as he watched the way she finished changing. Wanting nothing more than to forget about the topic that Ming didn't think she'd ever have to speak upon.
"Kitten. . ." Yoongi already had his hands set on her waist again. Having caught the girls attention almost instantly as she looked up at him with those eyes that told him everything he needed to know. Because the girl was someone he could read like the back of his hand.
"What happened—"
"Nothing, baby. . . I promise." She hated having to lie. Hated having to push the man away. Yet the woman didnt want him worrying. Worrying or thinking that something was wrong as she smiled up at him with soft everything's fine. Even if the man wouldn't budge. Able to see all that heartache in her eyes. Her eyes that would always be so gentle when catching his own.
