YeJun could hear that opening of the front door. Followed by the one woman who had him getting up from off the couch almost instantly, only to release a smile just as bright as his mother's own as he moved over to the woman in a rushed manner. Having given the girl a practical bear hug as he listened to her giggles all too gentle.

"Mom." She never thought he'd sound so breathless. Never thought the boy would react in such a way as Ming felt that breaking of her heart upon how tightly he was holding her. Acting as though she'd disappear if he were to pull away.

"YeJun baby, I can't breathe." In a laugh, the girl watched as he pulled away. Earning that softness of his mother's hand upon his cheek as she whispered out that soft I missed you. Even if it had barely been a day. Because the girl couldn't. Couldn't go without seeing him. Couldn't go without knowing if the boy was okay.

And it was then that she felt ones eyes upon her frame. Eyes that belonged to the one man who had been sitting opposite of his son as his phone stayed held against his ear. Completely ignoring the woman's presence despite his own want to go and hold the girl who had his blood completely boiling as he resisted the urge to scoff at the woman. Because he knew. Knew YeJun needed her. Wanted her.

"I bought you some desserts, baby." Ming met his eyes. Having given the boy a quick kiss against his cheek, only to follow him into the kitchen where she placed down the things she had brought him. Even if her eyes couldn't help but move over to the one man who did no more than look at the woman before continuing his conversation on the phone. Making Ming's expression just barely falter as he did so, despite distracting herself through the boy who she knew she wouldn't be able to go without seeing. He was her child.

"How was school today, baby? I thought JunSeo would be with you." Ming placed his things on a few plates. All while YeJun did no more than scoff before beginning to eat the things she gave him.

"We were together for a little after school, but he went to go see his fucking girlfriend—"

"YeJun baby, why didn't you tell me he had a girlfriend?!" Ming cut him off. Having looked at the boy in complete astonishment, only to earn an immediate roll of the eyes.

"You know it's not going to last, mom. He does this every fucking time—"

"YeJun." In a giggle, Ming couldn't help but laugh at the boy. Seeing as though she could see all that bitterness in his gaze that had her own narrowing ever so slightly.

"Are you mad because he's spending time with someone else—"

"Why would I be mad?" It was his turn to cut her off. Earning that smile all too warm from the woman who he'd do anything for as Ming shook her head. Having learned the boy like the back of her hand.

"YeJun baby, he's your best friend. It's okay to miss him." Ming let herself dig into a few of her own deserts. All while YeJun himself did no more than release a few incoherent curses underneath his breath before he met her eyes. Having said a set of words that had her blood running cold almost instantly.

"How is, Jin? Was he okay with letting you stay there?" She never thought she'd feel such immediate worry. Able to feel the way his gaze moved over to the two of them almost instantly, in which Ming kept her eyes set on the boy before them. Knowing that the question was completely innocent. He had no clue about her past with the man.

"Of course he was, baby." Ming ignored that stare upon her body. Having lied to the one person who she knew wanted her with him, despite her staying with Jungkook. Because Jungkook was wild. Barely even home enough to watch after the girl.
