She wasn't sure if she should say anything. Wasn't sure if she should introduce her child to the man. The same man being the one person the girl had thought she killed all those years ago. And the one person who had kept her up all night the minute she reached Jin's place. Jin being that single person who had watched those tears endlessly leave her eyes on that day the girl had found out. Found out Yoongi had cheated on her. Having earned that soft did you know about this the second he had went to go and take hold of her with that gentle calling of her name. Having given the woman that single look of confusion as she did so. Because he didn't. Didn't know or think that the man would've actually cheated.

And he had watched as she looked at him. Looked at him with that gaze so painfully blank, only to immediately pull her hand from out of his grasp the second he went to stop the girl. Even if Ming couldn't. Couldn't believe a single word that fell of his lips. She didn't know who to trust.

Yet with Jin it was so different. Because the man had feelings. Feelings for the woman that were so strong. Having caused his entire being to run cold the minute she rejected him. And the minute he found out that Yoongi truly had cheated. Filling the man with that anger he could barely hold back. Swearing that he had never wanted to kill the boy so badly. The same boy who had cheated on the one woman. . . Jin was completely in love with.

However, Ming couldn't. Couldn't worry about the man she wanted nothing to do with. Or the single girl that she wanted to kill the minute those words had left her lips. Too focused on her child who she felt as though she was completely neglecting as she waited for the boy to get out of school. Having told him that she'd come. Come get him. Come and enjoy time together.

"Mom." And just like that, she knew. Knew despite it all, she had to keep going for him as that smile painted his lips ever so brightly. Having been met with the woman the second he could do so much as rush out of school and all with JunSeo on his side. Filling the woman with that love she had been craving for. She loved the two boys more than anything.

"You two are going to make mommy cry." They were quick to swarm the woman in those hugs so heavy. All while Ming smiled at the two in such a way that had her eyes wanting to well with tears. Completely focused on the two boys she loved enough to do anything for. Having practically seen JunSeo as her own child. Able to remember those days she'd babysit the boy. And that day his mother had told her she was pregnant with him. Allowing for both YeJun and him to be raised together. They were like brothers.

"Where have you been, mom? Huh? I can't even remember the last time I saw you." And just like that, her heart broke upon JunSeo's words. Knowing that he saw her as someone so precious to his soul as YeJun noticed the subtle faltering of the woman's expression. Causing his own being to want to crumble. So afraid that something was going on that he didn't know about. Because he knew. Knew the girl was never one to allow him to see what she was going through.

"Then will you two take mommy on a date—"

"Mom." It was YeJun who couldn't help but laugh upon her words. Seeing as thought the woman was trying her hardest to make sure they still knew she was there. There and would never leave.

And with her own giggles, the girl gestured for the two of them to go inside the car. Even if it was then that she noticed her standing outside. Her eyes planted on no one other than them and expression smug enough to make Ming crack. Because that old version of herself was still there. And she knew. Knew that the woman thought she had won something. . . that was never a competition to begin with.
