In a groggy state, the man woke up. Feeling that immediate pounding of his head as he let his hand come against his face. Pushing back the hair captive in his eyes, only to groan in a tired manner. All while his gaze moved to look at the one girl who wasn't there lying next to him in bed. Causing his heart to drop almost instantly as he took himself out of the bed in a hurried manner. Seeing as though the woman was always still there with him when he'd wake up.
"Ming?!" His voice had never been so panicked. Having immediately went into the bathroom, only to have that same panic further grow. Because the woman wasn't there. Wasn't cleaning herself up for the day. Wasn't putting on her makeup or jewelry that the man would buy for her each chance he could.
And he continued to look for her. Moving himself into the living room of their home, only to catch the place completely empty. All while he went to his son's room. Praying to god that the boy was still there in his home.
"YeJun-ah?!" Yet he wasn't. Wasn't there lying asleep on his bed the second the man opened his son's door. Earning a groggy what from the boy who'd do no more than bury himself further into his blankets.
And just like that, Yoongi's stomach completely sunk. Having never felt more sick in his life as he went to take hold of his phone, even if it was then that the front door opened. Revealing the two people who had his eyes going glossy the second he caught sight of them. And the two people who's smiles instantly faded upon the man himself.
"W-where the fuck did you go?!"
"We went and had breakfast together." Ming could see that heaving of his chest. All while YeJun watched the woman move over to where he stood. Immediately raising those softness of her hands up to his face with a quiet what's wrong, baby. Even if all the man could do was swallow down that lump in his throat. Feeling as though he was going completely insane. Because the man was losing himself. Losing his family.
"W-why wouldn't you have told me—"
"You wouldn't have went anyway—"
"YeJun." Ming was quick to look back at the boy. The same boy who couldn't remember the last time he had even endured upon a simple conversation with his father himself, unless it had to deal with drugs. Because the boy was upset. Upset with what he saw between his own father and his teacher. Upset with the fact that he had made his own mother cry.
And just like that, Yoongi met his eyes. Making that heaviness of his gaze go instantly soft upon the boy's words. Because the man knew. Knew his own son was slowly beginning to completely resent him.
"You know that's not true, YeJun-ah—"
"When's the last time you did something with me and mom? Huh? Just stop acting like you fucking care—"
"That's enough." Ming cut the boy off. Voicing out that stern go to your room, in which the boy only scoffed. Completely ignoring his father's gaze on him the whole time the boy walked to the other side of the house. Going straight to the one place his mother told him to go as that base of his door slammed shut behind him.
And with a sigh, the girl shook her head. Whispering out that soft I don't know what's gotten into him, even if Yoongi himself knew. Because Ming didn't know that the boy had gotten into an argument with the man after that night she left to go to a hotel. Didn't know that he had caught sight of his father all over his own teacher. Making YeJun's blood boil more than ever before.
