"I'm going to see YeJun's teacher, okay—"
"Yoongi." She didn't know how soft her voice sounded. Coming out as though the girl was afraid to even speak to the man who had barely been in contact with his own love for weeks now. Unable to remember the last time the two of them even had sex. Nor the last time their kisses were more than a quick peck to one another's skin. Having been able to feel the way Ming barely returned the gesture each time he'd try and kiss the woman. Even if it'd break her heart. Break her heart to push him away.
"Just be careful for me, baby. . . okay?" She couldn't meet his eyes. His eyes that would make that guilt from turning him away so harshly within her system, completely eat her alive as he watched the way her hands took hold of the black dress shirt he attired. Adjusting the collar of it just like she always would as Yoongi's gaze turned completely heavy. Able to see all that heartache within his loves being. Because he knew. Knew she hated acting the way she was towards him. But she didn't want him to think she was okay. Okay with him letting their own child do things that the boy was slowly getting more and more involved with.
"Ming—"
"I-I love you. And don't be mean at the school, okay? I know how you can get." She let herself adorn a smile. Even if it was so forced. So forced and so filled with guilt as Yoongi watched the woman turn to move away from him so that the man could leave. Yet Yoongi was quick to let his hand come around her wrist. Having kept the woman from moving any further from him as that soft calling of her nickname filled the air. That same nickname the woman could remember him calling her for the first time. And the same nickname she loved more than she could ever hate.
"What's wrong—"
"I-I'm fine, baby. Just get going, huh? I don't want you to get there too late." She swallowed down every tear she could feel wanting to slip down her cheeks. All while just barely meeting the man's eyes that couldn't help but turn round the minute he watched his love get on the tips of her toes. Having placed a kiss against his cheek just like she would every time she wanted to act silly with the man. Yet this time he could feel all that sorrow. All that sorrow she felt towards him.
However, Yoongi didn't speak. Didn't do anything more than stay silent as his hand let go of her wrist. Able to feel the way she watched him leave the room, only to release a breath heavy enough to make her feel sick to her stomach the minute the door closed shut behind him. Because the man was all she had. Yet was lately completely pushing away.
And Yoongi could feel that sudden emptiness within his being the whole time he drove to the school. Emptiness due to the lack of both communication and intimacy between him and his love. Because the two were never the type to not speak with each other for longer than a few days. Or go about the most sinful things on those nights where Yoongi couldn't keep his hands to himself. Wanting to feel every inch of the woman who never thought she'd ever lose the man. The same man who's frame met with his son's school the minute he arrived at the one place that had YeJun's teacher's eyes going instantly wide as Yoongi knocked on her classroom door. Seeing as though school had just ended.
"Mr.Min." The woman already had the door opened for him. Noticing that she wasn't with the man. And that she wouldn't be there to catch the girl's hand that instantly came against the man's arm as she gestured for him to follow her into the room. Making Yoongi catch YeJun's gaze that was so heavy. Reminding the man of no one other than himself.
