He could see how exhausted the girl was. Continuing to wake herself up the minute she would slowly begin to fall asleep. Causing the man to voice out that calling of her name so deep. Too deep.
"Ming—"
"W-What's wrong—"
"You need to to go home—"
"I'm fine, Yoongi." She peered over at the man. Having given him that look so gentle and warm as she did so, despite carrying so much fatigue in her eyes. Because the girl was. Was tired. Was in need of that quick minute to herself in order to clean up.
"The boys are here. YeJun is okay. Just let me take you home to freshen up and get some rest—"
"I promise I'm fine, Yoongi—"
"It's been two days, Ming. And you've been barely able to stay awake for the past 2 hours." Yoongi shook his head. Making the girl remember those days she'd spend in the hospital with he himself each time he'd get hurt. Never daring to leave the man all alone. Because she couldn't stomach. Stomach knowing that deep down he both wanted and needed her.
"I-I can't leave him, Yoongi—"
"It's only a few hours, Ming. You and I both need to clean ourselves up." He knew she didn't want to feel like she was neglecting her child. Knew she didn't want to miss a single second of him being there. So afraid something would happen and she wouldn't be there. Be there to make sure he's okay. Okay and safe.
And with that look so hesitant, the girl glanced over at their son. Their same son who was completely asleep for the night. All while the boys sat there in the corner of the room. Knowing that right now they needed them. Needed them more than ever.
"Just a few hours, Yoongi." She met his eyes. Having earned that silent nod from the man who watched as she got up. All while he followed suit. Having looked over at the boys who could feel. Feel that heaviness of the man's aura.
"Watch over him for us, huh? We'll be back in a few hours." It was Jin who he met the eyes of. Jin being the same person who hadn't spoken to the man over anything more than simply the drugs. Still holding tension so strong between one another. So, so strong.
And it was then that they gave the man a nod. All while Ming voiced out that soft thank you towards them. Having earned that stuttered o-of course, noona, from Jungkook who had never been so sick to his stomach the second he got told just what happened to YeJun himself. So afraid that he had gotten killed.
However, it was Jin who continued to watch. Watch Yoongi coach the girl out of the room. Watch Ming hold onto the man's arm. Causing every ounce of that blood in his system to completely boil as Ming allowed for Yoongi to walk them to his car. His same car she hadn't been in, in so long.
"Are you hungry? Y-You've barely ate anything." He didn't know why he was nervous. Speaking to the girl as though he was walking on pure eggshells. Because it had been so long. So long since it was just them two in the car. So long since he had the woman in his presence like this. Making him feel. Feel what he couldn't believe he let himself lose.
And with that look so soft, the girl shook her head. Having let out that quiet I'm fine, only to make the man stay silent. Not wanting to pressure the girl. Pressure her into anything.
"D-Do you mind if we go to our place—"
"Yoongi." She cut him off. All while he felt her hand come against his own. Looking at him with that gaze so tired. So tired yet so gentle.
