Tahimik lang ako buong biyahe. Ray wanted me to sit at the back for me to enjoy the flight even more and for me to be comfortable too. Pero tinanggihan ko 'yon dahil nahihiya na rin ako. I sat at the seat beside him and slept for a while. I woke up at naninibago pa because all I see is the sky and the clouds.
I looked at Ray who's busy driving. I haven't touched my phone for a while, I don't even know where it is. After my sister took me, maybe kinuha niya 'yon at tinago para hindi ako makahingi ng tulong.
"Si-sir Ray, uh, Captain R-ray," nauutal pa ako. I don't know what to call him at nahihiya talaga ako. Nagugutom na talaga ako. I haven't eaten for a while too.
"Just Ray. What do you need?" he asked without looking. He's busy pero he's still smiling even if he's not looking at me. Matagal akong natulala bago pa makasagot.
"A-ah, I'm just wondering, uh," paano ko ba sasabihin na gutom na ako in a polite way? Nakakahiya naman kasi kung mag request ako ng pagkain habang busy siya diba.
"Hmm?" he's waiting for me.
"Where do you, uh, k-keep the food here? I'll go get us some food," I said and looked away. Napakapit na lang ako sa pantalon ko dahil sa hiya.
"Oh so you're hungry," he said and chuckled a bit. I got shy even more. Kailangan pa ba niyang sabihin 'yon? Pwede bang tumalon na lang ako dito? I am really embarrassed right now!
"N-no, I just thought that you're hungry a-and, I'll eat with you,"
Para akong tanga. I'm not like this!
"Just kidding, I know you're hungry. Andrea told me about what happened and I understand that you are completely innocent. I know that you're also struggling right now but, don't worry because you're in safe hands," he said. I nodded to him.
So, nasaan nga ang pagkain dito?
