After the small meeting, we stood up and said goodbye to his father. I was surprised when his father suddenly hugged me. Like, he's really making me feel that he's accepting me. I hugged him back and I smiled. I was so overwhelmed. Finally, I felt like being a part of a family, again.
"Take care of her, hija. And if he's hurting you, just call me. I will take care of it," pagbibiro pa niya. Nagpaalam na kami muli bago kami lumabas.
Nathan was silent while we're walking. He just wrapped his arms around my waist tightly. Akala mo naman tatakbuhan ko siya.
"Hey," I called. He immediately looked at me and smiled.
"Uh... y-you introduced me as your f-fiancee..." I don't know if I'm forming the right words. Nahihiya kasi ako. We just started dating again, and I think it's too fast if we jump to this status.
"Do you prefer being introduced as my wife?" my eyes widened after hearing his question. Mahina kong hinampas ang dibdib niya. He smirked then chuckled. He kissed my head and looked away to continue walking na parang walang nangyari.
"N-not that!" pagbawi ko. Sinasabi ko na nga ba e'. Kung ano ano lang ang iisipin niya! He isn't looking at me anymore pero patuloy lang ang paglalakad namin nang sabay. I can still see his stupid smirk na kanina pa ako naaasar.
"I mean... we just started dating y-you know! You could've just introduced me as your girlfriend or... or the girl you're dating? That's more suitable! Be thankful that he didn't look for a ring!" tuloy tuloy lang ang pagbubunganga ko sa kaniya. He's so calm na para bang planado ang lahat nang 'to.
"There is a ring," sagot niya.
"Where?!"
"Look at your finger," he said. Agad kong tinignan ang kamay ko at nakita ang isang singsing. It was a golden ring, na parang infinity ang design ng pagkabilog niya, it also had few little diamonds around it. It looked like an infinity crown. At the center, there's a little red rose with really small pink pearls around it. The ring reminds me of a lot of stuff. Na parang bawat isa na nakalagay dito ay may ibig sabihin para sa akin.
