"Hey, musta?"
"I'm fine, where's Eunice?" I said as I sat on my chair.
"She's still at the hospital," Andrea said sadly habang umiinom ng iced coffee.
"I hope she'll be okay," I said and sat properly. We're at our room, waiting for our proctor. Absent si Eunice dahil nga nasa ospital at hindi pa rin maganda ang kondisyon. Andrea can't go near her, because they won't allow her. Hindi sila galit sa kaniya, because Andrea was always there for Eunice, at ako ang wala. I'm too busy handling my sister and Elijah before, but that was for her safety too. Pero ang kinalabasan, ako ang may kasalanan ng lahat. But I accept it.
"Guys, absent daw si Sir! Walang klase!" our president shouted to the whole room. Nag ingay naman ang lahat, nakakarindi. But I'm happy na walang klase, nakakatamad.
"Wanna get some fresh air?" tanong ni Andrea ng malaman na walang klase. Tumango ako sa kaniya at sabay na kaming lumabas. Hanggang ngayon, hindi ako makaget over sa nangyari last week. About everything. I couldn't tell Andrea, natatakot ako.
I'm not even sure. Talaga bang, gusto ko na siya? Inamin ko talaga 'yon sa sarili ko?
"Huy!"
I was startled. Nagulat ako kay Andrea. I was thinking too much that I forgot to pay attention to her. Kanina pa pala siya dumadaldal.
"Oh sorry, I was just, thinking too much," I said to her. She smiled to me and tapped my shoulders.
"Zai, magiging okay din ang lahat. 'Wag ka mag alala," she said and smiled. Sa aming dalawa, mas malakas talaga ang loob niya. And I'm so proud of her. She managed to get out of her own problems by herself. She can always pull out a smile on her face no matter how hard the situation is, showing that she'll be okay.
Nag kwentuhan na lang kaming dalawa habang nag lalakad. We were so bored. Ang aga pa kasi, naka-leave ang second subject teacher namin dahil may emergency sa family nila. Break namin after, so we have two more hours para tumunganga. Wala kaming magawa kundi mag daldalan na lang.
