New Recruit

Chapter 8

After a day Izuna had a simple birthday with only family surrounding her she no longer wanted the spot light on her. Izuku gifted her money since they have long been drifted apart and he no longer knew what she liked anymore.

Then Izuku had gone back to relentlessly train for his title match afterward he would hangout with Hana this had gone on for some time until Hana's birthday.  On this day things changed drastically Hana went to meet Izuku at the Kamogawa gym and noticed that Izuku and Coach Makunouchi were working harder

Hana: Hey Izuku and Coach Makunouchi

Ippo: Hello ms Song

Izuku: Hey Hana just give me a bit we're almost done

As the final bell rang in the gym Izuku noticed Ippo looked more worn out than usual. Ippo was swaying and stumbling until he vomited in a spit bucket Izuku had rushed to his side.

Izuku: Hana call an ambulance!

She had done so as Izuku did his best to support Ippo while removing the training gear. When the ambulance arrived Izuku begged to let ride he was declined but told what hospital Ippo was being sent to. Hana knew she couldnt be selfish and just expect him to take her out like he promised so she was going to be there for him.

Hana: Ive got my car we can follow them. Dont worry about my birthday make we can do something another day.

Izuku was speechless as he saw Hana who was willing to help him out on her special day. So the duo had made their way to the hospital and asked where Ippo Makunouchi was. After being told they rushed to see him hooked up to a heart rate moniter they ran some tests and asked if this had been the first time he'd collapsed like that.

Ippo had stubbornly attempted to get up but Izuku told him that he has to take it easy. Doctors were going to some tests and get him discharged in the morning but Ippo tried to argue that Izuku needed training but was cut off "Go to sleep its okay" Izuku said.

The following morning Ippo was discharged and was told his results would be in by the next week. Izuku treated Hana and Ippo to breakfast as they ate a nice meal Ippo hadn't had breakfast with anyone else since his children moved away and his wife Kumi died. After an enjoyable breakfast Hana had offered to drive them home they both accepted

Ippo: kid we will continue training tomorrow

Izuku: No coach just rest I'll keep working out and I'll ask for some help I may know someone who can help with mit work

Ippo: Okay kid. Ms song I apologize for ruining your birthday

Hana: No no no coach Makunouchi you have nothing to apologize for. I'm glad you're feeling and looking better.

Ippo: Thankyou for the ride home please be safe you two.

Before Hana drove to drop Izuku off at home Izuku pulled a little box out which surprised Hana. "Whats this?" she asked confused all she got out of Izuku was him saying "open it and find out" what she pulled out was her signature bunny emblem but solid gold with pink dimonds for the eyes and nose.

Hana was shocked and surprised as she looked at him then back to the necklace until he spoke up. "Happy belated birthday Hana" Hana had put the necklace into the gift box Izuku looked confused hoping she didnt dislike the gift but then he felt her hands grab his face and kiss him with a passion that he had never before experience the moment the kiss ended Izuku looked into her beautiful brown eyes and in return she saw his mesmerizing emerald green eyes only to lock lips again.

The kiss they shared was one filled with an emotion neither had ever truly experienced before.

Izuku: Does this make us a couple now?

Hana: It sure does

Hana had driven Izuku home and they shared one more kiss before they departed.

One week later.

After a week Izuku did his best to be a great boyfriend to Hana by making time for her. She would often join Izuku for roadwork as she was pulled by him while riding a bike. Ippo had taken time off to rest and recover he was sent videos by Izuku watching him train with the assistant coach.

Ippo POV

After two days im ready to get back to work and help my boy get into fighting shape. It wasnt until I got a call from the hospital to come in. After waiting the doctor had come in and said I was diagnosed with a form of Cancer

AT Kamogawa gym.

Some time had passed and everyone in the gym saw the door slide open and noticed Ippo everyone had cheered and celebrated Ippo's return. Little did they know things were going to turn out hectic Ippo went to leave his jacket that contained treatnent info in the locker room. Izuku found it and the two had an argument about whether or not Ippo should get treatment

Izuku left upset with Ippo so they decided to cool off before any more words could be exchanged
