"I hate being pregnant. Being pregnant sucks. It sucks." Mia said, frustrated as she sat on the couch where Regulus currently sat with a book in his hand. "Why are only women getting pregnant? Men should also be pregnant." Amelia grumbled.
Amelia was twelve weeks pregnant and she was already sick of it. Of course Regulus and Esmeralda always help her as best as they could especially with her morning sicknesses.
Sometimes Esmeralda would purposely not come home sometimes due to the fact that Amelia's mood swings were changing every hour. Regulus would try to make her feel better, sometimes it worked and sometimes it made it worse.
Regulus bit his lower lip to prevent himself from laughing. Laughing at her wouldn't help anyone right now. "Do you want to eat something? There's snacks there that are good for you and the baby." Regulus asked, closing his book shut.
Mia shook her head. "I'm not hungry." she responded, caressing the baby bump. "I wonder if my baby is a boy or a girl." she thought out loud.
"Well, what do you prefer?" Regulus asked, shifting from his seat to face the brunette. "Boy or girl?"
Mia hummed. "Both." she answered with a smile on her face. "One boy and one girl." she answered.
"So you like two kids?" Regulus asked, smiling. "Never would've thought of that." the raven haired man chuckled, making the brunette narrow her eyes playfully at him.
"Well, I just don't want my child to be alone. I want my child to to have a sibling." Amelia explained. "Siblings might be annoying but they are great help sometimes. You help each other and protect each other."
"Most of them." Regulus muttered under his breath, shaking his head. "Have you thought about names for you baby?" the raven haired man asked, curiously.
Amelia shook her head. "Not really." she answered. "I think I'll give him or her a name when I go back home." she answered. Regulus frowned at her respond but nodded. It was his idea in the first place and he should support her while he can. "Are you going back home after this?" Amelia asked, curiously.
Regulus shrugged. "I don't really have a plan after this." he answered, truthfully. "I think I'll stay here. Not at Esmeralda's place but somewhere in Seattle."
"Yeah." Amelia nodded, liking the idea of Seattle. "It's nice and quiet here. No deatheaters and no drama."
"No annoying families." Regulus added, making the Amelia smile.
"Yeah. No annoying families." she muttered. Both of their heads turned to the door as it opened. Regulus and Amelia immediately stood up upon seeing a woman behind Esmeralda Acker.
"What is she doing here?" Regulus hissed upon pointing his wand at the woman. The raven haired man moved Amelia behind him so that he could protect her and the baby.
Savannah rolled her eyes at him. "Relax, Black. I'm not here to bring Mia back or turn you in." Savannah leered, crossing her arms against her chest. "I'm here because I'm a healer." she added. "Shall we, Mia?"
Savannah and Amelia were inside a room due to privacy while Regulus stood outside the locked door to stand guard since he didn't trust anyone to be alone with the woman he loves.
"How could you even bring her here? Are we going to obliviate her after the check up?" Regulus asked, fidgeting on his wand. "Because I won't hesitate to do it."
